I get it this location is small compared to others, but the muffin section has some very rude workers that give unhappy and annoyed faces to customers that can’t make up their minds of which muffin to choose, it doesn’t help either that the muffin ingredient tag is in extra tiny letters making it even more hard for people to make up their minds. If you don’t genuinely enjoy helping people please don’t work at a grocery store.

I was recently shopping at the Whole Foods Cambie and went specifically to purchase one of the whole organic chickens that were on sale for $3.99 a pound. When I couldn’t find any in the cooler I went to the butcher who said that they had run out and that I may want to try one of the other stores. I ended up having my husband drive me over to their Kits location, to pick up one of the chickens there. Worth noting that I stood on a long line only to finally be informed by the cashier that the price was out of effect, wherethen, i was turned over to the manager, Brenda. I spoke with Brenda and she informed me that the special had ended on Sunday despite appearing in a flier of otherwise weekly specials. A bit misleading from my viewpoint. OK so my fault for not picking up on something that seemed to represent am unexpected departure from the usual format of advertised specials that run the duration of week until the circular turns over. I then asked Brenda if she would not consider giving it to me for the sale price considering I had come all the way from the Cambie store and had already waited online at her store. Brenda stated that she would not honor the sale price, so I ended up just having to leave without my chicken. Is she right? Technically yes. But my point is this though. You have a customer who did their best to patronize your store as well as commute to another on bad information. The feeling I can’t shake is that the thing to do is to give them the sale price. What does Brenda lose by giving the customer the benefit of the doubt and saying, β€œYou know what… I know you came all the way here I know you shopped another store before this one and that store gave you faulty information. Let me make it up to you by letting you have the $1.50 off the chicken that was originally on the sale if for no other reason then to offset the price of the gas from going to from one store to the other.”?- Anyway, disappointing and something about it just doesn’t live up to obsessing over the customer.

I have been hearing a lot about this place for a while, but never managed to find a reason to stop in until now. It was pretty much exactly as I expected. There are lots of things that are ostensibly of higher quality than the more well known alternatives. I haven't been able to make an objective decision on how true that is, but the stuff I bought was certainly as good as any other. The price was higher than many places, but not ridiculously so, as far as I can tell. I'm a former Vancouverite, and the matter of parking to get there reminded me of why. I'm clearly not the target demographic, but if the brand opened in the Fraser Valley, it would probably have a chance to be accessible and I might even make it my go-to grocer.

Specifically for Irene in the Health and Wellness section of the store. Irene is a superstar. She is kind, listened intently, helped me consider options, shared helpful anecdotes and observations, and guided me in store to assemble the ingredients for a natural remedy to my issue. There is no better thing than to be made to feel that "you matter". This totally changed the way I feel about Whole Foods. THANK YOU, IRENE! I'll be back with an update!! UPDATE!! IRENE! The Apple Cider Vinegar Ginger Lemon ? Tumeric daily morning cleanse is awesome, I have tons more energy and my mood is definitely better.

My gf and I pretty much eat the burritos from here 4 times a week. We love it so much!! The staff are super nice and very friendly. The only thing is that the size of the burritos are sometimes big some times small.

Inconsistent masking among non-kitchen staff after BC left it up to individual businesses. All kitchen staff were masked and super friendly & helpful. Food is great (highlight: burritos) but just not worth inconsistent safety standards set by management. Go somewhere else
