★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to be a big fan of this store for it's staff and selection however I recently visited and it seems that everyone quit at once and they had office people with no knowledge or experience running the floor. Tells me something isn't right in the ownership to lose all your staff at once

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a well organized wine store. They have a good range of wines from respectable and reliable to distinctive and rare. It's easy to find what you want and the staff are great at making suggestions on wines to try. You don't have to spend a fortune to come away with something special. I wouldn't hesitate to buy based on their recommendations. They host regular tastings so you can also sample from their collections and hone your preferences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m giving a five-star rating as I was SO impressed with the five rows of Canadian wines to choose from! I have been away from B.C. for some time and even visiting no less than 10 different B.C. liquor stores as well as a few independents, Kits Wine Cellar is like an overdue homecoming. Note that aside from the immense B.C. wine selection, their “rest of the world” wines were equally well-curated. Kits Wine Cellar also has a massive “chilled wine” section if you need your wine pre-chilled.
The staff we friendly and helpful, and provided some good recommendations for my specific wants both old world wines and new.
The only disappointment is the website for Kits Wine Cellar. It’s almost as if they don’t want to spread the word about their wine club or events or any of the wines they do sell to better educate the public. But I suspect this is down to the monopoly which owns this location who can’t be bothered to make the online experience a friendly one. A real shame, but hope you go visit in person.
