Staff is pretty friendly.
"Rebeca" helped me the first day and she gave me two options, I choose one pair and tried them for 2 days but as she though in the beginning the second pair will helped me better so I bring them back and Peggy was pretty friendly and changed them to the second pair.

โ โ โ โ โ I'm so grateful for the staff at this store. I first came in two years ago to get my race package for the St. Patrick's Day 5k. Since then I've returned countless times to buy shoes, nutrition and I even participated in the Marathon clinic in 2019. Justin and the team helped me develop a love for running that I still have to this day and it's helping me get through the pandemic. I still buy all my shoes here, including a new pair of Brooks Levitate 4's that I'm picking up today :)

Unlike other running shoe stores I went to check out, the people working at the Running Room on Denman Street are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and experienced runners. I asked questions about using insoles in running shoes and also found out I was using the wrong types of socks. Every question was answered. I was really impressed and would recommend this store before any other in Vancouver.

โ โ โ โ โ I bought my second pair of running shoes here and my experience was awesome, same as while buying my first pair. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and they really listen to you and give you good tips. Definitely recommend this shop to everyone. They deserve 10 stars ?

โ โ โ โ โ I've been out of running for years, after some marathon training led to some nasty shin splints and knee injuries. Two kids and a pandemic later, I'm 50 pounds heavier (narrator: it's actually 75) and am feeling the craving to get out on the road again.
I'd previously been into the game when all of the low-profile-barefoot hullabaloo was happening, which probably didn't help my already challenged knees and ankles. I knew that with my extra weight, age, and couch-potatoing that I'd need something completely different to both protect my body and make the sport enjoyable. In those younger days, for whatever reason, I'd associated my pain with gain which isn't a view I have anymore after having crossed into middle age.
Anyway. Walked into Running Room after all these years and had a just lovely experience there. Justin was friendly and answered all my questions, bringing out the dozen boxes of shoes and sizes that I wanted to try. He didn't push any particular ethos or brand, just genuinely wanting me to find something that would make me happy and work for me. He was the perfect balance of attentive and space-giving, not hovering around me like a sales vulture or standoffish like someone who didn't want to be there.
Long story short, I left happy and confident with what I needed, looking forward to hitting the road with my new gear. Thank you Justin!

โ โ โ โ โ Not all shoe stores and Running Rooms are the same. I'm glad I visited this one to seek a new pair of runners for my upcoming marathon as the staff were extremely helpful. They were knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing, and just generally delightful to speak with. And a special thanks to Matthew in particular for assisting me. I'll be sure to come back here for my next pair of shoes!
