β β β β β Customer service is shoddy. Went twice for information requiring an appointment, only to have my time wasted because they could not help me/us. Feedback: have someone available to ask questions about their needs for that appointment, prior to offering to book one. If someone had told me it wasn't worth coming in for, we wouldn't have come from work to do so.

β β β β β Poor service. Branch was empty when we visited and they were not interested in helping the customer at all. Branch manager excuse of denying the service was some type of RBC policy but when I asked to show this policy to us he was not able to find it. We went to another RBC branch and completed the transaction in few minutes. We'll avoid the Seton branch for any future banking.

β β β β β This branch isn't really like the rest. Instead of the teller desk layout that you might be used to they have their own detached desks. It's interesting to be greeted as soon as I come in and then directed to the teller's desk

β β β β β Moving to a new branch for the first time in more than a decade. Very unique layout. Quiet. Had interactions with at least 4 very friendly people. They opened me account right away. Everything was easy and simple. Their online banking and way of doing things seems awesome. Everything was above expected.

β β β β β Staff are for the most part friendly but as a client you can do any real banking. Have to make an appointment to open a checking account, but they open late and close early. If you have an issue you are told to sort it out on online banking yourself. I am not sure exactly what employees here do, but RBC has to be one of the worst banks for customer service and care.

β β β β β Great location. Staff are superficially friendly. But when issues happened related to the banking, they don't have the knowledge. Important information has been mistyped which they were not even aware until it was pointed out to them. This has happened countless times. As of recently i have completely avoided going to this location because of the quality of service.

β β β β β I have been an RBC client almost my whole life. And my most recent experience at RBC in SETON Calgary has to easily be the worst.
I went in for a very simple wire transfer. 15mins went by and the teller said she was having network issues and she continued with this excuse as i noticed client after client come in, finish their business and leave.
40 mins went by and still no reassurance from the teller, extremely unprofessional.
Finally, 50 MINS! into this debacle, she finally said its ready and had me review the wire details. To my disbelief, the information on it was wrong. I asked her to change it and another 10 mins pass. At this point we are an HOUR into a simple wire transfer, she tells me..... "my network is not working". Her co worker saw this entire thing and did not offer any assistance (she had no clients). Instead , she told me to "be patient".
As a long term customer and a shareholder at RBC, witnessing this level of incompetent behaviour from employees of a respected bank is beyond baffling.
Seeing these issues at the ground level raises some fundamental red flags in management. I do hope RBC management gets to the bottom of this mold breakout before the entire fruit decays.
