About OPA! of Greece Seton

We started with a souvlaki skewer and a dream

OPA! is a Greek word used to express happiness, and evokes the joy and celebration of feasting with family and friends. Since we opened our first location over 20 years ago, everything we’ve done has been driven by the philosophy of OPA!

The OPA! experience combines fresh Mediterranean cuisine with the friendly customer service we've become known for. We’re a quick-service Greek restaurant, but that just refers to the time it takes to serve our lovingly-made dishes. From the first bite, you’ll want to slow down and enjoy the moment with friends and family. We don’t just want you to love your meal; we want to have made a positive difference in your day.

Last few trips have been disappointed with decline in food quality. lettuce is no longer even fresh and bread was stale.

I'm new to this location, but, The gyro wrap, a salad with a drink is the order I always get. No matter the city I'm in. The meat is hot and well seasoned. Sauce is tasty, maybe a bit more could be on it. The pita (Reminds me of Nann, yummy!) wrap itself was fluffy and soft. All of this was good. But I've had issues with the vegetables multiple times. The first couple times it was just the tomatoes tasting like they were on the edge of being thrown out or they only used half because the other half had gone bad and thrown out. I dismissed it and tried a 3rd time as I enjoy OPA! And the food is always delicious. 3rd visit and again not only the tomatoes but cucumbers were mushy and spoiled, the feta wasn't tasting like feta and even the olives looked like they had been left out for a while and then thrown into the salad. From the looks of it, there is disgruntled staff that aren't putting attention to the freshness. But everything else is on point or better. I hope this vegi concern improves as it's close to my work and I'm already missing going here these last few weeks that I've been avoiding it for this reason.

I eat at others Opa locations on a weekly basis so we are very familiar with the food, we never have issues with food quality. I decided to order from seton and ordered a meal with Greek salad, as always it had feta cheese. Typically feta has a strong smell but it shouldn’t smell like mould. I told the cashier, she said it was new and it was fine. Completely dismissing my concern. So we were forced to throw out food as I wasn’t going to ask my children to eat mouldy cheese. It was very obviously mouldy, the smell was overwhelming. Won’t be ordering at seton location again, bad customer service.

I eat at Opa a few times a month, but sadly this location has gone downhill. The last few times I have ordered it has been pretty bad - tonight it is inedible. The lamb is cold as ice. Cold rice and potato - No seasoning on the rice? The vegetables taste weird and are mushy. The only thing I can eat after an exhausting 12hr day at work is the pita. Unfortunately some of the newer staff are rude and don’t have very good customer service skills. Too bad. I will no longer be going to this location. I heard there is a new Greek place in Mahogany - will have to drive the extra couple kms and take my business there !

Always great fast food, don’t feel as guilty after eating. Friendly staff and cleanliness at this location.

Clean Restaurant. Nicely greeted by staff. Hot and fresh food. The Pita bread was so delicious. Nice patio outside of the restaurants where you can have quality time and see the sun setting, not to mention little rabits running around the side walks. Don't forget to try their freshly cooked fries with Ceasars dip. Yummy.

Had really disappointing experience the last few times I went there. The freshness of the food has significantly decreased. The meat is often tough when eating it. At times I felt like I am eating rubber, kinda deadly when paired with stale pita bread, putting it onto the greasy grill to heat it up and crisp it for extra flavor just leaves it to dry out. I feel like I payed 14 dollars for just fries at this point when I cannot finish my food at all.

Amazing experience. I would recommend this location to anyone. I ordered the chickpea salad with one lamb and one chicken skewer, and calamari on the side. I was enjoying every bite to the end - Healthy, juicy, crispy (in that sequence!). I also noticed that the girls there are always so busy and taking handfuls of orders every minute, but they still served me in no time and made sure I got a filling portion. If you want good food and a happy belly, go to this OPA location! I will definitely be returning!
