I took half of my meal home for another meal. The Clubhouse was soo big that my friend had trouble opening his mouth wide enough to take a Bite! We really enjoyed the rustic interior as well.

And it's always been a highlight occasion in that sense. However, on this occasion, I went in for a meal after departing from an early ferry, so I was looking for more of a brunch like meal. Bingo! Also a highlight event. I forget what they call it, but I had a huge melange of eggs and potatoes and sausage and I forget what else. Delicious and probably the largest brunch portion I've ever seen. The servers are always super busy there but not so much that the service is slow. It's a pub, so sometimes it is a bit loud, but it's expected and as long as I'm not looking for a quiet intimate setting, I'm always looking for a way to fit a visit to the Prairie Inn into my visit to the island.

After we got our bill we noticed that we got charged full price so we asked the server and she told us it changed to after 8 instead of all day as of a few weeks ago. Would have been nice to know that when we ordered them.

They made room for us & the food was delicious & generous portions. Definitely coming back next time we are in town.

Wing weekends are particularly attractive. The menu offers a good variety. My favourite is the fish and chips. The salads are fresh and large. This is a great stop with convenient access from the highway. Use caution, though, as the intersection is undergoing a major reconfiguration.

There's both a pub section (19+) and a restaurant section (minors allowed). Even with ample parking it can be hard to find a spot during peak hours if that is any sort of indicator. Beer is cold too.
