To follow up with the response from the pub, the review i posted was a couple weeks old. (originally posted on Facebook) so I'm not sure how you checked with my server, how would you even know who it was? Or who I was for that fa? Anyways, appreciate the response, as I said, it is normally a great pub with great food and this was one bad night. Is what it is. We have been back several times since and fully enjoyed Cheers Maudes is a fantastic neighborhood pub, however last week on night, on Wing night, our order was definitely delayed on inputting or forgotten about, so when asking 45 minutes later where the food was, our waitress said she would check the computer, from there she quickly hustled across to the kitchen (I've worked I. Restaurants as a server, and I know that hustle walk), and proceeded to come back to the table to say they were extremely busy and ours was next order up, however, two tables that came in well after us received 5 orders of wings and 3 orders of wing prior to our food coming out. I don't mind if you forgot to order, or the chef misplaced the ticket, but tell me straight up what happened. Don't feed me some line I know isn't true. Unfortunately the channel changer was broken so we were stuck watching Komo5 cooking in the northwest instead of a great hockey game on most of the TV's. normally I would highly recommend and I'm hoping this was an off night. Really disappointing evening

Delicious strawberry gin fizz drink (not sure what is was called). Wings are a great deal at $8 lb - lots of flavors to choose from. Longstanding staff so the management must be doing something right!

Very helpful in making my beer selection, gave several samples. Felt that they genuinely wanted me to be satisfied. Tasty and generous portions of typical pub grub.

The food was reasonable in quality, the portions weren't very large I left hungry for the price I paid. The wait was a half an hour to get a table. The food was served in a timely fashion. After the food hit the table the service declined substantially. We were left alone a little too long some of our people at the table wanted more drinks. I would go back. Maybe I'll try a larger meal next time.

Great food, good cocktails, good prices on beers. Service is good as well. They have a pull tab machine which makes a pub a lot more fun imo. Ambiance is nice too. Music bingo and trivia night is fun. Probably my favourite place to go for a beer

Fast and friendly staff. I had a monster of a burger. The Bad A$$ Burger - Flame broiled beef patty, 40 Creek Bourbon BBQ sauce, cheddar, Swiss, bacon, black forest ham, fried egg, mushrooms, crispy onions and a breaded pickle with a side salad and fries. Good salad, really good fries and that burger fantastic.

I had been to Maude's for brunch before and their mimosa flights are amazing! This pub is good because of the amazing brunch menu and the good quality food. But last night was a very bad experience. I originally typed out a detailed experience on what happened but I think some bullet points wrapping it up would work much better. It is listed in order of importance: - Due to the service we decided we were not going to leave card tip (I understand that the tips gets divided between front of house and back so we were thinking about leaving a small cash tip before heading out). When I paid with my card the waitress asked if there was anything wrong with the service I responded that it was not as attentive as we would have preferred and we were originally planning on ordering some more drinks but could not. She called us rude for not tipping and as she walked away told us not to come back. - Everyone was able to finish their meals before I even got my fork for my coleslaw - It took 10 minutes for a glass of water - We wanted to order more drinks but could not find our waitress - Our table was very sticky - Waitress walked away without our order TWICE (I put this last as I want to give her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't know we wanted to order food, but still should have asked or waited until we looked finished ordering) I rarely write reviews but was very disappointed at this experience. I totally understand that sometimes people just have bad days and it happens to the best of us. But I wanted to share this experience as a heads up if you go here YOU HAVE TO TIP. Else they will get mad.
