Legend says that if you enter the store, pick up a bottle of scotch, and rub the label three times a gentle giant in a Cascadia uniform will appear behind you, take your hand and lead you to all of the scotch, tequila, and imperial stouts that your heart desires.

I went because there was a specific craft gin I had been hoping to get as a Christmas gift for my wife. I had my two toddler age kids with me so it was a bit of a trip. Found the gin I wanted and got it bagged. However, on my walk to the car the bag tore right out at the bottom and the gin smashed all over the parking lot. I wasn't sure what to do so I went in and the staff were awesome. They helped get things cleaned up and replaced the bottle at no extra charge. It was a fantastic customer service experience and I highly recommend this store for others!

They demanded to see id from our entire family that was standing outside after grocery shopping which included our younger siblings, or else they would not serve her. It was very clearly her family and this behaviour is ridiculous and so unprofessional and demeaning. They yelled at her and made her feel like she was doing something wrong. Our family will never be coming here again and we will be telling others of how we were disrespected.
s	sam gossen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a reflection of the entire store, but I just bought six pack that was completely shook. Every can loses 1/4 to 1/3 when I open it. That's annoying. edit,. It is nice that they actually replied and offered some refund. Next time I'll bring them back. +1star

B	Bethany Roddan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were incredibly rude and hostile towards me. I came to this liquor store to buy a 6 pack of beer. I arrived to the store after grocery shopping with my partner, his parents (both around the ages of 50) and my little sister. They waited outside for me because 1. They didn’t want to come in because they don’t drink and didn’t want anything and 2. They were with my sister who is 13. When I approached the till, I was asked to show my ID (which I already had out) and the IDs of everyone outside and I was accused of booting for them. I explained that most of them didn’t bring their ID with them as one was a kid, and two of them just didn’t bring their ID because we only went to Walmart to grocery shop. The manager and the cashier were both extremely rude and as someone who already has massive anxiety shopping, this was a very unpleasant experience. I understand that there are rules but there is a way nicer way of going about things especially when the customer was never hostile or rude towards the staff to begin with. I won’t be returning to this location and I will be telling my friends and family not to go here either. This was incredibly unprofessional

If you need booze and are nearby, do not hesitate. The only other liquor store on this level for me is Vessel in Oak Bay.
