★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was referred here and saw Dr Michael Berger. A physiatrist who tested my hands for carpel tunnel. He had horrible bedside manner. He walked in and instantly made and vocalized judgements about my weight, before asking me ANYTHING else, including why I was there. He criticized all my mental health medications, completely out of his scope or why I was there and before asking my WHY I am on those medications (under the supervision of my psychiatrist). It was a horrible experience. I guarantee I received less quality of care from this doctor, based solely on his perception of my BMI. Being over weight does not cause carpal tunnel, being over weight does not cause fibromyalgia. Ultimately he dismissed my concerns and said my hands issues are due to my fibromyalgia, and that if I didn't get off my psychiatric medications and loose weight Im "going to die really early". Thanks doc, coming in for my hands really warranted your unasked for opinions on other parts of my body and life. Rebalance MD should do a better job with the doctors they hire at such a huge clinic that is devoted to pain management. Not just skinny people should get quality pain management at their facility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had nothing but good experiences at RebalanceMD. We have found the staff to be overly accommodating, polite and helpful. We have never waited more then 10 minutes for our appointment. Dr. Weatherhead is great to deal with and very knowledgeable. We also like it as there is good parking and access for a wheelchair.

The secured email is annoying and complicated for the less technical savvy of us but deeply appreciated the effort they put on keeping my information private Good job thank you! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw physiotherapist for awhile for treatment after accident. He was good in addressing the particular area in question but brushed off anything unrelated to it.
To be fully able to return to my previous activity level, other parts of my lower body needed attention. It was clear I was weak in another area. When I brought it up, he said "I don't need to hear about that".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish to commend Rebalance MD, in particular my surgeon Dr. Duncan Jacks and navigator Paula Sanglap-Bono, for their excellent care during my one-year wait for total hip replacement surgery. Both of these people expressed sympathy that my operation was postponed as a result of surgery cancellations in October and a long waitlist. Dr. Jacks deserves praise for introducing a new protocol called VERA (Victoria Enhanced Recovery Arthroplasty) that speeds up the recovery process and minimizes pain. It is a game-changer for orthopedic patients needing hip and knee replacements. Navigator Paula was always promptly responsive to my many requests for information, expressing understanding and compassion during circumstances of high demand and chaos during the last two years of the pandemic. In addition to Paula, I was well served by Jenni Cardinoza, NJP Administrator for Rebalance. Jenni was prompt, helpful and supportive in response to my requests and questions. My Rebalance team ensured that I had the best possible experience, which now continues with follow-ups and physiotherapy. Thank you to all of you for helping me resume an active life without pain. I am lucky and grateful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very efficient and docs who appear on time. Xray techs who are happy to be at work, and get you in and out ASAP. From arrival to departure, was admitted, received xrays & saw specialist all withing 30 minutes. Convenient parking out front. I just wish you could come here BEFORE you had to sit in ER for 5 hours to get a referral! 5 Star all the way. You will feel like your a millionaire in the US, but it's free here in BC!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't get much out of appointments here in the past, but I saw Dr. DeBruyn for the first time today & he was fantastic! So thorough in explaining things, he was happy to answer my questions and look at all my scans. I'm not exactly a 1-problem patient either so he came up with a good plan for me that will hopefully help me out in the long run. Its not often you come across a doctor thats willing to look at you as a whole & include all your problems in a treatment plan, I've gotten a lot of 'short-term solutions' from different providers, so I really appreciated this visit. Highly recommend him!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely poor service. I have currently been waiting four years to see an orthopedic surgeon. My family doctor has had to write three letters to them to find out what they are doing but they don't respond. They have lost my file twice already. If you are looking for help this is the wrong place to go. The doctors there just don't seem to care about the patients at all.
