★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While visiting Victoria , discovered this bistro on a recommendation. Well worth the drive from downtown. Just about 12 minutes drive. Went there for dinner and the food was very tasty, we decided to go for brunch the next day! We tried the Mushroom Pasta and I aded a snapper. The Pasta was delicious and perfect. Not mushy or sticky! My wife ordered a beef sandwich, which again was sumptuous and delicious. For dessert, the cheesecake, was delicious.
The next day we went for brunch. I ordered a chorizzo and chicken hash, which comes with eggs benny. Being a "foodie" I must say The Hollandaise sauce was one of the best I have tasted, and being able to prepare a good hollandaise sauce is proof of the good kitchen staff
The service was excellent and the staff very friendly and paid a lot of attention to the good service. I highly recommend this Bistro and will visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New menu is great and the near future menu of smoked meat is exciting. We got to meet the manager today who was very nice. We enjoyed a couple of corn dogs and an order of hushpuppys. Delicious. Live music next Sunday do we will have to check it out. All changes are positive. See ya soon

The menu seemed a bit unusual. It didn't have much cohesion aside from the fact that all the meats served appeared to be smoked.
We ordered pre-dinner drinks and our meals. Both came at the same time. The drinks took longer than usual to make.
My husband enjoyed his meal. I didn't like mine. Mac n' Cheese was probably not the best choice, but I figured when restaurants have this on their menus, they must have an incredible recipe for it that will stand out. The Crooked Goose's Mac n' Cheese was very dull. I added smoked chicken to the dish which made it worse.
I would visit again. Based on my partner's appraisal of his meal, I would want to try something new and give the place a second chance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is delicious! They've recently switched things up to a Smoke House rather than traditional pub food and it's all very delicious! That said, the prices are above average pub fare, so be prepared to pay a bit of a premium.
Service is always lovely, the drinks are good and they have many rotating beers which is fun. Will definitely be going back!
