We never heard from him again. We tried to contact him a few times but had no luck. If he wasn't interested in doing the job, he should have let us know.
A	Aaron Gyorkos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tom's Thumb Landscaping owned and operated by Thomas Sokoloff did not do the work they stated they would do and provided poor service. We contracted Tom's Thumb to do some landscaping work in our front yard in May of 2018. Shortly after the work was done, the centerpiece tree brought in by Tom's Thumb started to die, as did another plant that was moved from another part of the yard. I informed Thomas Sokoloff and he said he would take a look. After more than 4 weeks and several texts he finally checked out the tree. He apologized for his poor communications and stated he would replace the tree as it was not doing well. Over the course of the next several months we communicated with Thomas several times to get him to do the work he stated he would do. He did not do the work. Finally, he then said he would pay for the dead tree. Then, as before, he did not honour his word stating that dogs probably urinated on the tree and the other plant and that is what killed them. It is now February 2019, and Thomas Sokoloff of Tom's Thumb Landscaping has not done the work as promised. This entire exchange between Tom's Thumb and myself is documented for the record.

Tom's crew came in and gave us our yard back. His crew was very friendly and took great care of our property while doing the restoration of our yard. Thanks Tom, and your crew too, for helping us out. I'm having to fend off the kids for the last few weeks to stay off the sod, but they are looking forward to having a place to play this summer again.
