★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered in tonight - chicken parm, fish with yam fries, lemon pepper and honey garlic wings. Delivery was really quick and friendly, every item was delicious and the bill was totally reasonable. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Last Saturday evening, greeted like family (we have been a few times but we are not regulars)
The food is down to earth as is the atmosphere, nothing pretentious just honest to goodness grub, relaxed setting and friendly staff.
It was our server (Teah?)'s FIRST shift and whilst it was evident that she has previous experience in hospitality, she took this to a whole new level.
The kitchen was VERY busy as they had a large party in the function suite but we were warned there would be a delay and our food came exactly when we were told it would. Teah had everything under control with such an easy going manner that we were quite happy just waiting.
She checked all her tables frequently during that time and made sure drinks etc were supplied quickly.
The locals menu is VERY good value for money and the roast dinner is one of my favourites.
Little extras and attention to detail set Boondocks apart for us

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went last night with a large group of people. Everyone ordered drinks and meals and I have to say, everyone was very pleased with everything. The service was fantastic. Food came out in good time and was delicious. We were still talking today about how much we enjoyed it. We will definately come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful ambience and nice service. But the food for three of us left much to be desired. Fish and batter were not tasty; chips were small and soggy, pasta didn't taste "quite right" (maybe not cooked quite enough?) and the sauce was heavy. My friend's meat was "tough". Beer and wine were great... but we won't be rushing back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was pretty good. My experience was kind of ruined when I bit down into some glass. I had the steak sandwich, mashed potatoes, gravy, and mushrooms. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were great. The mashed potatoes I must admit did not taste great, they needed a lot of seasoning. I put salt and pepper on them and they were edible up until I bit into the glass. They did apologize and took the food off my bill as well as offering me other dishes and a free dessert. I really appreciated that but I do not know if I would come back. They handled it well but I do not think I could eat again at a pub that served that in someone’s food. The manager told me that the kitchen broke a plastic cup and some pieces went into the mashed potatoes accidentally without them knowing. I looked at the pieces several times and they felt like glass to me. The waitress and the manager were so lovely and handled this situation amazingly though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were on the banquet room side watching the band The Distractions play. A good fun night, not overly busy. The food was very tasty, with the menu offering a variety of all sorts of dishes...pub style! Their garlic fries were excellent..we will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived into town late, and needed to find a place to eat. Boondocks was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. We were happy to enjoy the live music entertainment with our late super of a chicken parm for my hubby & a beef yorkie for me. Both tasted lovely, fresh and homemade.
The dinner was great, the entertainment was fun to listen to and the service was excellent. If we ever come back this way again, I’m sure we’ll stop by.
