R	Rob Williamson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an older hotel that has been well used and well maintained. The room we stayed in was clean and warm. We had no issues with being close to the highway or the railroad. It is located in a very convenient location and close enough to 7-11, so if you are in the mood for a midnight treat all you have to do is walk across the parking lot. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I never got to meet Gary, the owner, but if I did I would shake his hand and thank him personally.
F	Fallon Hardie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for work— which is the only readout why anyone would/should stay here. Rooms are dated and gross, unless you snag a newly renovated room. Upon arrival, I inspected my room to find dirty sheets, blood stained pillows and shower curtain, and dirty floors. Someone had obviously been in the room earlier to “clean,” because the bed was made and the towels folded— which points to blatant negligence on the staff’s/managements behalf (in the midst of Covid-19, no less.) I couldn’t change rooms either, because the motel was fully booked. The only nice thing is it’s convenient location to a 7-11, and the Curry House. The gentleman at the front desk is super friendly, too. Good luck to anyone staying here: bring sanitizing wipes and your own bedding!
J	Josh Wiebe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first impression of the motel was pleasant, the rooms looked clean and the staff was friendly. We were there for work and stayed two nights. The last day I got up and had moved the sheets around when I found a bed bug. I grabbed one of the cups they provide for guests and scooped it up. Upon checkout I went to the office but they were closed so I headed off to work. A couple hours later I called them and they acted like I was lying and argued about it. So I headed down to the motel office and showed them the bug and argued with them some more. I demanded a partial refund of one hundred dollars, thinking that was reasonable, for having all my clothes cleaned and spraying out my suitcase and truck. They agreed they would refund one hundred dollars. It’s now been over two weeks and have not received anything or any communication from them. I had over 14 bites I found on my body. I will now be taking other actions. Very disappointed with this establishment.

I was traveling with my pets so I understand there would be a extra charge (everywhere else charged an extra 15 to 20$) but this place jumped the price from 130 to 208$. The room was OK, Somewhat renovated. The yard had garbage everywhere. Not going to stay there again
A	Anthony Hawkes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place should be avoided at all costs. I arrived late after a long day of travel. The room smelled so strongly of weed that I was unable to sleep. The pillows smelled like an ashtray and the noise (trains, sirens, homeless) was unrelenting. The door knob was wobbly and would not open unless the key was halfway in and the ground floor window would not close fully. I stayed for three hours and decided to keep driving as it felt safer than staying in this disheveled mess. Would not recommend to anyone.
A	Astrosynthesist on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm staying here medium-long term. When I walked in I worried that it wouldn't be super clean but my rooms have been very clean. They are a little outdated, mostly in the bathrooms. Some issues with changes in water pressure drastically affecting water temperature. My biggest issues have been related to thin walls and noisy other patrons outside, as well as close proximity to train tracks and loud honking at crossings in the middle of the night. But the staff is nice and accommodating and the beds have been clean and comfortable.

M	Mark Biggar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was a dump. I'd rather sleep in a dirty horse stall than this hotel. I'm amazed I didn't get a rash or pink eye after staying here. My bathroom was full of long black hair that was not mine. If you can, drive the extra 45 to Smithers and stay there.
