★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great location and very nicely appointed room. By far the nicest motel I've stayed in and nicer than some rooms in nearby Whistler. Very clean and the bathroom was perfect. We stayed in room 24 which is on the upper floor on the end with a great view of the water and incoming ferries. We will definitely stay here again.

What hotel doesn't take visa debit? Dummies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family & I missed the last ferry & they were the only motel. They refused to give us a room as we didn’t have enough for a full deposit on a major credit card.
We offered a cash deposit & they refused. We also offered to combine the deposit with two credit cards, which they also refused. We had more than enough on visa & mastercard debits.
The front deskmen said it would go through, but the owner wouldn’t allow it. They couldn’t care less if we slept on a bench. We ended up taking an 80$ roundtrip cab to the Travel Lodge, who were so sweet to accept us at midnight.
They helped us out no problem. We were very thankful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lady at front desk with blonde hair was a doll!! She brought us water in the morning with no hassle or extra charge. Such a kind person with many good recommendations for food and views. Loved it there, will be back soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was stuff left behind from previous renters. The counter tops could've been cleaned better. Old decor but clean carpet, clean bathrooms, clean linens. Beware you can hear everything going on outside at night (my daughter could hear her neighbour yelling). Again though, it was clean, there was good restaurants nearby and the ferry is right there.
