★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent 2 pleasant nights at this motel. Staff were very friendly. As some other reviewers have noted the property is dated. The room in which I stayed could have used a fresh coat of paint on the door. Having said that I found the space to be open and welcoming. The shower supplies were sufficient. The bed was firm. It was super quiet, even with people in rooms close to mine. The WiFi worked really well. If you are coming to this area and want a cheap place to put your head down at night Hipwell's will do the trick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old school hospitality. The owners are very friendly and the rooms are super clean with comfortable beds. Quiet, safe and peaceful location with a beautiful view over the valley. Five minutes from the town of Fonthill where you have all you need. We will definitely stay here again!

Cozy,quiet and all though a bit outdated,the heating,the room and shower were all ok,plus parking in front of the building. The staff was ok and the surroundings green and peacefull,and very american style,like in the movies.
Problem: The owners are around,but we had to wait for them 30-40 min,we could not find anyone,and we spent 10 euro roaming costs just so we could call them.
To owner: please install a loud doorbell or multiple doorbells around the facilities.
Also,please note there are no stores nearby,you need a car to move around.
Tip: go and buy the tickets straight from the hotel,not through booking,it's slighly cheaper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid 169.00 for 2 nights, plus 150 cash in case of damage, not sure what more damage could be done, no screen in the outside door, no door handles on the bathroom door, cigarette burns in the end table the whole place reeked, just absolutely disgusting, reminded me of the shared Hitchcock movie, called it the bates motel this place should be condemned, DO NOT STAY HERE

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was close to a nice tulip garden and not far from Niagara falls. The managers are very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean, with appliances and everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Basic accommodation which meets of budget conscious. Very clean room, sufficient number of hangers and had extra pillows. Owners were very welcoming. "Make your own coffee" set up and a bottle of water was provided and the fridge worked well Negative: The sink in the bathroom had no stopper and there was no hairdryer provided. Based on the reservation,the owners knew there 2 people but only provided a single bottle of water.
