★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at this place last year while on a motorcycle trip through the Kootneys. Great service from the staff, nice clean room, covered bike parking and nice location close to the village. Great place to rest your bones, highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very happy with my stay here. Beautiful clean room, very well maintained. Bed is nice and soft, the linens and towels in the bathroom feel more like I'm staying at a B&B than any old-run-of the mill hotel. The wifi is great! Looks too like this would be a pleasant place to stay for a few days if I were visiting the area more long term. Nice big BBQ pit for summer activities!
The only thing I would change is the height of the shower head. I'm 6'-1" and it is at shoulder height. And I'm by no means the tallest person in my family. Water was hot very quick, and the pressure was awesome however!
If I'm taking hwy 3 across the province again I would definitely stay here again.
p.s. I'm totally copying the headboard and side table design the next time I build my own bed frame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean clean clean very friendly and spotless rooms. Fantastic motorcycle motel, covered parking, bug wash station, comfortable beds, convenient for Kootenay day trips fantastic roads. Salmo has a brewery tasting room “Erie Brewery” with fantastic people and atmosphere. Blue Dragonfly Cafe has delectable meals with decent prices. We have had a wonderful 3 days here. Highly recommend this Motel and Salmo.

Love the little touches of art around the property. Very homey feeling. Great lounge area set up with games, BBQs, fire pit.
Beautiful and beautiful view!!!
Our room was fully equipped. Full fridge kitchen had everything. Excellent room and beds, rooms were nice and warm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would've missed the town completely since it's so small, but the car broke down, so we had to find a quick place to spend the night. Shelly and Darcy were super friendly and loaned us a jack so we could do the fixup. Shelly even picked up the part we needed from Castlegar about 40 km away. Very clean and homey feeling. Quiet place and there's coffee! It is an older place but very well kept. If you like sleepy little mountain towns with great people, this is your go-to!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome place for motorcycle riders. The property is beautiful & has so many whimsical artistic touches to look at.
Salmo is very close for getting gas. There is bike only parking that is protected from the rain. There are 2 bbq’s that are available to use. There are picnic tables & ashtrays in numerous areas to sit. Anything needed is provided—ie: dishes etc. Just off the highway, but very quiet. Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptionally clean and well kept motel. You can feel the pride of ownership. The owners are amazing and have taken time to provide lots of fun personal touches. Take time to walk the property and appreciate its whimsy, including the murals and the poetry phone booth. Will definitely stay here again.
