Terrible groomers. Usually we take our dog to the Uptown location but they were booked out for weeks. We came to Langford location expecting the same level of service. The first red flag was how long they kept her. What is usually about 1.5 - 2 hour service at uptown was about 4 hours at Langford! They did a hack job on her trim, and we ended up taking her to the vet for minor injuries on her paws that our vet told us was likely due to a poor groom. Would not ever go back. Management did a good job addressing our concerns when notified after vet visit, and ended up paying for our vet bill (no refund offered on groom), but does not change the fact that it happened in the first place and how poor the trim was, injuries aside.

We have been taking our Huskies to Natalia in the grooming salon for several years. Natalia takes great care of our fur babies and does such a perfect job of grooming them. She has given our dogs so much love over the years and I feel she is such an asset to our Millstream salon.

Pet smart in Langford is a descent place Lots of stock and different items. A little pricey on some and cheap on other but descent friendly staff so... Worth a vidit5

Generally a good store to visit for the basics. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they always welcome me and my dog. Today I’m editing this review because my frustration with how PetsMart marketing works has finally boiled over. If you’re a Treats member, you will get periodic emails advertising deals. Recently, they have had two good deals: 1) 2000 bonus rewards point with the purchase of Royal Canin food, and 2) 15% off on sales of $60.00 or more. I went online to order my dog’s food and take advantage of both of these deal (I checked and they can be combined). So I’m thinking that this is a great deal and go to order the food. Surprise - out of stock both at Millstream and Victoria locations. They have the smaller bags, but the 4.4lb bag is so expensive compared to the 14lb bag. I know it’s not entirely their fault with supply chain issues and such but darn it, this happens every time I want to buy my dog some food. There is no β€œorder now ship/pick up later” option, and no rain cheque policy. Don’t put stuff you do not have on sale. It just alienates your clients. My dog is getting low on food so now I have to go buy it elsewhere. Argggg.

I went there today for a bath and a full haircut for my dog but they did not accept my dog because of the vaccine certification. The problem for them was that he has an international certification of health with the list of vaccines required but that was not sufficient for them just to have one word in Spanish that they "could not understand". (My dog arrived here 9 months ago and before this I had not had any problem with his vaccines, even in boarding service or entering to the country with the Canada Border Services Agency) The list was exactly like this: Parvovirus/Parvovirus , Moquillo/Distemper, Hepatitis/ Hepatitis, Parainfluenza/Parainfluenza, Leptospira/Leptospira, Rabia/Rabia with application date on 19/06/2021). I also gave them the original sticker of the vaccines that he got with the number of batch and the complete information of the vaccines like brand and components. For me, this situation was racist and discriminative with international people. The manager's assistant and groomer were rude with any intention to help me or give a solution instead "We cannot continue with the service, your certification is not valid". Worst service ever!!!

Picked up an online order. Used curb side pick up. Part of my order was correct. Some of the cat food they gave me was the wrong type. When I contacted them, they didn’t offer to deliver the correct one. Had to drive back to make the exchange.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worked here for 5 years..first 2 years were amazing then we had new management join and ruin everything... Management treat their staff horribly, they treat their animals EVEN WORSE and they fire the staff that want to help the animals not die for "caring too much" or "going to indepth" when working with LIVING BREATHING ANIMALS. I suggest you DO NOT work here or even shop here for that matter.

Went in to buy an in ground fence for our dog. I looked online and found the one I wanted but had a couple questions & needed to have the case unlocked to actually get the merchandise. I spent about 30 minutes standing in the aisle after asking twice for help with my 2 year old. I was a bit confused as to why the prices in store and online were vastly different (over $100) and their stock didn’t match to what it said was available online. Bought the fence anyways as I needed to get out after being in there for so long. Did some more research this morning and found the exact same product for less than half the price elsewhere. I also questioned if the prices were not right when purchasing and was brushed off. Heading back to return it today and probably won’t go back again.
