Park Square - Edmonton

I really like this building. It is clean, very spacious, the units are excellent and the common areas are quite good. Just at the beginning, we had some issues when trying to communicate and ask for a viewing appointment; however, after that and since we moved here, the staff has been really kind, friendly, and quickly fixed some of the issues in our unit. Particularly, Agnieszka and Dixie are nice people and always there for you to answer any question or to fix any problem. Besides, the location is great; with public transportation options just some minutes away, places to eat, shopping malls, the River Valley... I definitely recommend living here.

I have been living in this building for the past three years and it gotten from better to worst especially with the new office people (can’t call them managers because they have poor management skills)I wonder how they are hired. They seemed very clueless.Even to my last day, everything was just so messed up and disorganized.It says office open at 10am but cant even find someone even after 10am(several times) its just ridiculous. I definitely won’t recommend this building to all my friends. Not a single chance. If only google could rate a negative score for management. Very lousy and incompetent.

My boyfriend and I have rented a suite here for over two years. We really love the views; the floorplan; and since a major appliance upgrade, we find that the quality of life here is definitely enjoyable. The location is wonderful! There is an exit at the visitors parking, leading right into the river valley; the main floor (9th floor) exit leads to a pedestrian bridge near the top of Bellamy Hill, a short one-block walk to Jasper Ave. We've found the parking to be secure and convenient, especially considering the location is downtown. Our experience hasn't been without hiccups, the ladies who previously worked in the office left much to be desired, but that has since been resolved. Every time we've submitted a maintenance request the staff response has been quick and attentive. Unfortunately the parking elevator was out for a bit, but we understood that during COVID it was taking a little longer to get the parts needed. These issues do get handled though. Daniel and Dixie in maintenance are super friendly, and usually contact me within 2 days once a ticket has been submitted through the qualreal website. We hope to continue living here for years to come and appreciate how concerns have been handled long term. I'm sorry that some reviewers have written bad experiences; in all honesty, I believe this apartment building is a solid A+

UPDATE 10/28/2020: I contacted that email and they did nothing as expected. They only said they’re sorry and that this can happen in any building!!! Typical poor support. They’re just charging every unit $20/mo for maintenance fees and they do nothing in return. That’s literally stealing our hard earned money. I definitely won’t renew my lease ever again. I’m starting to look for better places. It’s a nice building but unfortunately the maintenance and management is not good. The parking elevator is out of service all the time and it’s a pain. They should lower the rent and compensate the tenants because the elevator is useless. I regret renewing my lease.

I have nothing but GOOD things to say about the building managers, Agnieszka and Sandra are a pleasure to correspond with. They are real people, and are friendly and inviting. I am planning to move into this building at the end of the month, and am super excited! the view is great, the elevators are super fast, cats and dogs are welcome, the suites are big and bright with lots of natural light, appliances are newer with not much wear, and the bathtubs are HUGE, rooms are smaller but will fit a king sized bed - will follow up in a few months to make sure this 5 star rating is still up to par!

Customer service beyond terrible. Very unprofessional and lazy. Even small things like changing access code takes days and multiple follow ups. The office lose your paper work and they rush to sweep it under the rug by blaming it on the tenant. Turnover rate is high and the next person don't know things. You HAVE to keep records of everything just to protect yourself in case you need it in court. Office staff is rude and show no respect. Emails/phone calls are often ignored. All they love to say is we are sorry but we all know it's just trash. AND they charge 20/ month for admin. The room itself is great to live in. But find some other place to save yourself trouble.

Park Square was our home for nearly 3 years, and we had a fantastic time there. The experience steadily improved during our stay, and I think this building has grown into a great bargain for tenants. Highlights included: 4 high speed elevators, spacious units and common areas, a brand new roof top patio with a stunning panoramic view of the Edmonton river valley (see photo), a brand new lounge/party room, nice gym, the beautiful river valley view from our unit, and the hardworking property management team. We would have considered buying in this building if units were for sale! If you're looking for a great and affordable rental building, definitely check out Park Square.

Do not move here at any cost. my car was broken into not once, but three times and after telling management, nothing was done except "upping security" however I never once saw security. there is also a human sized whole in the chain link fence into the resident parking that I've seen people use to get in. There was thousands of damage on my car (not even including the stuff stolen). The management is also horrible. They never picked up the phones and were never in the office when we went downstairs to see them because they never answered their phones. Issues took weeks to resolve, air conditioning was broken most of the time we lived there. Our sink was broken for over a week but no assistance was sent up because we had a "low to medium issue" but had no kitchen sink to use!!!! had to end up calling someone outside of the building to help. The elevator to the parking lot was broken for the first 9 weeks we lived there (sept 2020 to nov) and was "broken" many many more times over the one year we spent here. also when we decided to move out, management made it near to impossible to move out, claiming we could only use the moving elevator from 8-4 during the week (no weekends) but both my roommate and I worked days!!! 7 months after moving out and I'm calling about mail that was send there and I have called 14 times in the last 2 days during office hours and STILL NO ANSWER. this building is absolutely the worst building to live with the worst management and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone. Don't let the nice views of the river valley and "amenities" draw you in. The upstairs "rooftop patio" was gross and dirty, BBQs never worked in the time we were there and TVs also not worked and the gym is old and dated, with a cable machine that barely works and missing weights (no air conditioning also, gets so grossly hot). if I could give negative stars I would.
