I picked up a tube of hairball treatment gel for my 22-year-old cat. He didn’t seem to like it so I put a little bit on his mouth. It’s only then I noticed that it smelled so bad so I check the date to learn it was expired a year ago! I panicked thinking I might’ve hurt my cat! I was told they would order a new one and have it for me Monday but when I went there the lady said it’s family day we don’t get orders in on the holidays. What a hassle! How does any responsible business, let alone a medical clinic, allow any ingestible product so far beyond the expiry date, to be on their shelves in the first place?

They were kind and informative on the phone and in person. They took very good care of Hopper the Whopper our little kitten that needed a snip snip(neuter). Pleased with the outcome. Healthy recovery process.

I used to live on the north end vof edmonton very close to Oxford Veterinary Hospital. Over a year now I've relocated to the Southside in Jagare Ridge which now is a 30 min drive sometimes longer due to construction, accidents, or rush hour traffic , but I have been treated with such kindness, and upmost respect not just myself but all my fur babies that I would drive hours for their superior Veterinary Servicels . I caan't say enough about the Oxford Veterinary Hospital but above all who make it the best I've had the pleasure of entrusting them 100% Dr Tammer was there for me before, during and after my 8.5 yr old Rottie lost her battle to cancer. Dr Tammer is the most amazing Vet I've ever been given the pleasure of knowing. He gave Ava the best care we all wish for our pet to have. He treated Ava with Such love and devotion from the very beginning with her fight with cancer, right to te end and last day she couldn't stay strong anymore and I had to end her suffering. I I never would have been able to endure the loss of my Ava if it hadn't eve been for him a d his staff. Hands down the best Animal Hospital.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I adopted two cats from Facebook pets for re-homing group page. Once home I realized something was very wrong with one of the cats. I then contacted Oxford animal hospital for any advice, they said 'bring him in' so I did just that the very next day. After having him in they said it was just a bad ear infection, gave me painkillers, ear drops, and some antibiotics. For nearly 800 dollars It has been 2 1/2 months since he was there and now he is worse off than before. He cannot walk, 2-3 steps and he falls over, he hasn't eaten nor drank any liquids in 3 days. I have called many if not all rescue and adoption services in edmonton, no place will take him. So I call Oxford again to talk about euthanization and they tell me they will not euthanize him over an ear infection. I can't afford to keep paying massive vet bills so I think euthanasia would be the best thing, they want me to bring him in again, so they can continue handing me massive vet bills and do nothing for the cat, this place does not care about your animals or any if that. All they care about is money. They would rather let this poor cat suffer than put him down because they want money. Terrible place. Terrible service, even the receptionist is rude all the time. Would not recommend this to anyone, they probably prefer your animal to stay unhealthy so they can continue making money off the same animal.

Dr Tamer and Dr Wesam are very kind and accommodating, the staff is also extremely welcoming. Every visit is as efficient and quick as it is enjoyable for both me and my cat. Highly recommend bringing your pet here.

This wasn't our regular vet, but I think from now on they will be. Sadly, we had to put our fur baby boy to sleep today. They were very thorough and compassionate and helped when other vet offices just said sorry they're fully booked.

My dog suddenly injured her leg and Oxford animal hospital got us in right away after we called! They were so understanding of my concerns and they explained everything from start to finish. I’ve never had such amazing care at a vet and they made a somewhat traumatic experience into a positive experience! They showed me videos on the surgery my dog needs and explained her X-rays for her torn ACL. They’re not pushing surgery on me like other vets have and let me make the decision to do the conservative method or the tplo surgery! The doctors are so amazing and kind and passionate about their work! My Sharky was well taken care of ❀️ Here’s a pic of her with her new bunny after she came home
