β β β β β As much as I love Dr. Yoo, I am quite disappointed with their after service.
There was suppose to be a few referrals based on the annual exam. I had followed up more than 4 times by phone and even tried to email them multiple times. The receptionist on the phone always tell me they'd get back to me and they Never... Quite frustrating honestly.
I've been with this clinic for few years now and never had this issue in the past. Not sure what is going on.

β β β β β Beware if you value your time, they triple book appointments for the same time. I had a 11am appointment and there were two other people waiting at the same time. By 11:30 one person was done and I would still need to waiting another 30 minutes. I wish they just told me my appointment was for noon.
This is exasperated given there is no free parking - their website notes to go into the building behind them and look for Commercial Tenant parking signs, there is no such thing. There is parking for BMO customers, visitors to the building and authorized personnel, no commercial tenant ones.
I appreciate they want to keep the doctorβs busy, but at the expense of customers wasting time when they need to pay is poor service.

β β β β β Visited Dr. Yoo for a regular exam and Eye infection. She was Professional, very knowledgeable and took time to explain to me the findings. Answered all my questions. The staff was very professional too. I would highly recommend Dr. Yoo and this Clinic.

β β β β β Went in to get measured and all for laser eye surgery. The staff were all great and friendly, but the receptionist asked if I had to pay or not. I was told it would be a free consultation so she accepted that, but seems like it's not a standard practice whether or not patients pay for that service.
Next I went to a series of machine with some wonderfully kind and young staff, it was very quick and they were happy to answer all my questions and I was done for that session. Following this there was one follow up call with a lady regarding the cost and if I wanted to proceed. I asked about the healthcare worker discount that is advertised on the website, she didn't know about it but she said she would ask. Never heard back from that day regarding price. I received a follow up voicemail stating my scheduled appointments. I tried to call back to the clinic to confirm, but the wait times were ridiculous. seems like they wanted to pencil me in without verbally confirming if I could make it or not, Which I would think is important since I would need to make sure it fits my schedule (including recovery time). Could never reach through to the clinic since their line is always so busy, and never got a call back. I didn't feel accommodated or valued as a customer. I felt like I was just another appointment to pencil in at their convenience. For the price that laser is and how important my eyes are to me, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

β β β β β Been going here for the past few years now and Dr.Yoo and her staff are great! Thorough eye exam and Dr. Yoo provides helpful suggestions and tips with issues I bring up to her regarding my eyes. Very easy to book and convenient location.

β β β β β North York eye clinic has been my go to place since more than 2 years now. Dr. Yoo is very helpful and treats her patients very well.
She give great feedback on what should be done and how you can improve your eye vision. Quick FYI- the clinic requires pre booking or advanced appointment. Also visit their website for timings. They also have a vast variety of frames.

β β β β β Been going to Dr. Julie Yoo for 6 years now and has been a great experience. She is knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and professional.
Today during my eye exam I casually asked her about Lasik and she was able to list the pros and cons quickly, along with the different providers and range of pricing. She was also happy to explain to me my prescription and condition in layman terms. I was super impressed.
