Wow! I'm so impressed with the level of service. Josh was generous with his time and very thorough with the set up of my new Synergy 350. I am happy to support a Canadian business and a company that really cares about their customers. I highly recommend! Update: I have be loving my electric scooter! If your thinking of getting one, do it! It is my daily commuter (except for rainy days) I have had my scooter for about 4 months, nothin but good times.

I recently purchased a Synergy City Elite scooter from this company. I am having a blast on this machine!! This scooter has been a real eye opening experience and the most fun I’ve had on wheels!! I dealt with Josh Sanford who is far and away the best asset that this company has! He is smart, knowledgeable and consistently personable with a true desire to help!! Thank you very much for what I hope will be a lifelong enjoyment!!

Helped me with my equipment and my purchase, and let me test drive the OneWheel before I bought it. Super helpful.

(TLDR; Was incorrectly told I could purchase any parts for the scooter separately, two months after purchase had an accident that wasn't my fault - was refused repairs by the shop (despite me willing to pay for them) as a result of liability and then was told they would not sell me the parts so I could repair the scooter myself because they felt as though they would still be liable if I incorrectly repaired the scooter. This is not only false (just as you couldn't sue an auto parts shop for selling you parts that you then went home and installed improperly) but in direct contrast to what I was told to get me to purchase the scooter. ***BUYER BE-WARNED*** I purchased a Synergy Dual 800W scooter no more than a month and a half ago from the Vancouver store... When I purchased the scooter, I made absolutely 100% certain that I would be able to buy any parts that I would need for the scooter should anything break on it... I was reassured that this was no issue at all, I would be able to buy any parts no issue... Well, unfortunately, last week I was cut-off by a car sending me into the sidewalk going about half the speed the scooter is capable of travelling at. The fork broke, which drove the wheel assembly back to the scooter foot platform and the light also broke. Now I'll admit that there was a fairly significant chunk of damage to the scooter (probably more than should have been from an impact at half of the scooter's capable speed), so I did expect that the repair was going to cost me some money. I also anticipated that there was a possibility the store wouldn't feel comfortable repairing the scooter for liability reasons... I had made peace with either of these outcomes, given the fact that I had clarified upon purchase that I would be able to purchase any of the scooter's parts separately, and being that I am a mechanic myself, it would be no issue carrying out the repairs on my own. I dropped my scooter off and waited for the week to pass... Over the weekend I received a call from one of the Shop Techs who informed me that the scooter frame was supposedly warped (although when I inspected the scooter I saw no evidence of the frame being warped) and that it was beyond repair there was nothing they could do. Already prepared for this, I was quick to offer to fix it myself, and asked to for them to sell me the parts necessary to make the repairs. Initially, the answer was that it would be impossible to fix and that they wouldn't sell me the parts, they did offer me a 15% discount off of another $2500 scooter (what would've been my second in two months), how generous. Having inspected the damage already and also with my mechanical background I felt as though this probably wasn't true and that I could repair the scooter if I was given the parts. I put some pressure on the tech and he caved a bit offering to search over the weekend to see what parts he could come up with and that they would call me back early this week. I never received a call, so I decided I would call them back today and see what the update was. This is when I spoke with the manager who let me know that due to the frame being bent (allegedly) - they would not sell me any parts to fix my scooter. A direct contradiction to the promise I was made no less than two months prior on the day I purchased my scooter. The shocking part is the explanation for why they did this... The liability of selling me parts due to my frame being 'warped' is too high because it implies that they endorsed the repair of the scooter... I'll have to remember in case one day I incorrectly install a part on my car and it causes damage, by this logic I'll be able to sue the parts store cause I guess they would be liable... (?) If you intend on maintaining your scooter, purchasing your own parts or carrying out your repairs, I highly recommend you look at other brands and skip these guys because apparently, they don't honour the right to repair, nor do they stick to the promises they make to convince you to buy the product in the first place.

I’m leaving this review on behalf of my sister and 10 months late...but hey!...better late than never. My sister was interested in purchasing an e-scooter. I said that I would be happy to help and accompany her. I looked online and had chosen a few business’ to check out. North 49 was the first that we were going to visit from their online reviews. Boy oh boy...am I glad that we did. They have a super cool shop with choice product. Josh warmly greeted us and attentively listened to my sisters wishes for what she was hoping to buy. Josh explained at depth all of the models that he stocked and suggested she try the base model first. My sister started test riding the different scooters and Josh would check in with us to see how things were progressing. In the two and a half hours that we were there, Josh had been busy helping three other customers with their scooter needs...giving the same great customer service that he was availing to us. Needless to say, Josh sold everyone a scooter. Great product, but more importantly, fantastic customer service contributed to securing all of the sales. Thank you Josh and North 49 for restoring faith in the traditional brick and mortar business!

Bought an electric scooter from here recently. Super super friendly staff who were honest and answered all of my questions. They currently offer the best warranty on their e-scooters compared to anywhere else I could find. Their promotion on their website ended but they still were able to get me the discount the next day. They also said the product would arrive in approximately 2-3 weeks but it arrived in 1 week. They continually under promise and over deliver. Aside from that the people there just seem genuinely nice. Ryan even bought me an ice cream cone from a passing ice cream truck while I was browsing. They've also been very supportive and knowledgeable after my purchase with follow-up questions I've had. If you want to feel good about your purchase, these guys back up their products. Would definitely buy from here again. Update: 2 years later and I've put about 1000 km on the scooter and the battery still seems pretty good. I think it doesn't go quite as far on a full charge as it used to but I think it's still holding well. I went up a curb and the plastic light bracket snapped my light off so that no longer works, and the way the cable hooked up to the light ended up causing it to twist a lot when I'm steering so that ended up wearing out and broke, so I have no front light anymore. Also, there's some control box inside the scooter that was stuck down with 2 sided tape but that ended up becoming lose inside of the scooter and rattled around a lot. Opened up the scooter and fixed that and it's okay now. I don't know what's "average" for an electric scooter but that's been my experience. I'd still buy from them again.
