Great easy company to deal with. They printed me a batch of stickers for my company and were top notch to work with. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Poor quality signs installed for a client, one peeled off completely, one was installed with visible seams in the letters and fasteners that have nicks and scratches in the chrome finish. Was sent a proof where the logo was significantly altered, including the overall shape and colour, something simple I had to point this out to the team at Signmaster. There are plenty of great sign makers in Vancouver, wouldn't recommend this one.

Signmaster has successfully completed graphic installations for three of our newer work trucks. The design, implementation and communication was wonderful. We will only use this company moving forward. thanks VDC VANDELTA

AVOID Signmaster. I am an arts professional and university photography instructor, and I planned to print an 8’x12’ banner with a photographic image for an upcoming art exhibition in Alberta. After speaking with Mat Macgregor, I decided to print and pay $50 for a 2’x3’ sample. I was happy with the image and colour reproduction, and approved for them to move forward with the full-sized banner. Unfortunately when I picked up the large roll, I was only able to unroll 1 to 2 feet to check it out. The only allocated space for this is in their entranceway where there is no viewing surface but the floor. I am 5’ tall, and the last thing I wanted to do was try to handle an 8’x12’ banner. There are COVID-19 restrictions in place, and with physical distancing and minimizing my time in closed indoor spaces, I decided to pay for the banner with the understanding the remaining 10’ I had yet to unroll and view would match the sample. (The sample area was in the innermost part of the rolled-up banner.) When I arrived home to unroll the banner and view it under daylight, and in comparison to the sample, the colour of the full-sized banner is completely off. (see photo) The file was likely sent to print with the incorrect ICC profile. I emailed Mat on May 19 about the severe colour shift, to which he replied: “The size difference between sample and finished print is probably making the difference. I will look into this in the morning and get back to you ASAP”. I had only sent Signmaster the full-sized banner file, from which they selected a 2’x3’ sample at the exact same scale. I did not hear from Mat ASAP. I prompted Signmaster for an update and advised that if the technical error in their printing could not be resolved, and if a new banner could not be produced to match the sample I approved, then I would return the unusable banner for a full refund. I never heard from them for 3 weeks. I got Mat on the phone today (June 9) to ask for an update, and he claimed too much time had passed. I should have been in touch sooner. Mat also claimed the banner was already ‘used’ and sent to Alberta. False. I had no choice but to work with another company, who delivered an exceptional banner within one week. There was no way I would publicly display the Signmaster banner. The fact that Mat invented this story proves his unwillingness to own up to his printing error, or his weak belief I’m somehow trying to get a free printing job. As an active member of the arts community, I wanted to work with and support a local company to output this project, and I was happy to pay professional rates, $610 in total. It is disappointing to be on the receiving end of poor printing and customer service, especially for a company that boasts many years in the signage business. It is disappointing to be blamed for the amount of time that has passed when I clearly contacted them soon after I was able to see the unrolled banner under better viewing conditions, and they failed to return my messages. It is disappointing to pay for a sample, only now to have Mat claim there is NO GUARANTEE the sample will match the final output. Mat offered to reprint the banner at a reduced rate, but on principle, I should not have to spend more money since it was not done correctly in the first place. I have offered to return the banner, to which Mat rudely replied, “What use is it to me?” I do not want to jeopardize any more of my time or resources working with Signmaster, who do not value quality printing and are condescending to female clientele. There are plenty of reputable signage companies in Vancouver who are keen to deliver high-quality printed signs, who understand the basic principles of printing samples and calibration, and who at the very least provide timely and respectful customer service. I will advise my wide network of colleagues working in the arts, design, and education to take their business elsewhere.

Great company to work with. They always exceed the expectations set out and have never disappointed in the 13 years I have known them. Highly recommend using this company.

I have used Matt's company for years. He has always been super efficient. I would recommend his shop to anyone for any sign needs.

Fantastic printing place for our business. Always excellent service, and fast turn around on our vinyl printing. Did a great job on our delivery trike. Highly recommend - professionals!

These guys are great. I have used them for a couple of signs for my sailboat. They meet the time frames they promise, the decals look amazing and they are very easy to apply. And they are very reasonably priced. I will bring all my future work to them.
