I brought a pair of broken touring ski boots in after being told by multiple other shops that they could not be fixed. The techs at sports junkies were able to fix them, saving me big $$ as I was otherwise looking at having to get a new pair. Excellant service and quality work, thank you!

The stuff normally is nice, sometimes just not (a girl wasn’t nice, maybe was just that day). The deposit is really expensive, 500$ for rent the skis one day. In my opinion too much. They have a lot of things to sell in the shop, is good that.

Surprisingly a lot of stuff inside. It was my first time coming here and was pleasantly surprised. A lot of the used items were fairly decent shape and had lots of inventory. There are 2 floors, with friendly staff always willinging to help when asked. They also do bike servicing upstairs which is nice.

I was on my way to return some ski rentals yesterday afternoon. It snowed the previous day and road conditions were not very good. I got stuck in the snow on a side street that was facing uphill. I was inches away from damaging a parked vehicle. An employee from Sports Junkies (forgot to get his name) stated that he can get me out with his pickup truck. I waited until he was finished with one of his customers. He was able to tow me out with his truck. They were so helpful and I was very appreciative of the help. These guys are the best. I suggest you shop Sports Junkies. Awesome employees.

I bought a bike that was supposed to be delivered the next day. I went to the store to pick up the bike the next day not knowing I had to get a call from them first, and I received the most unprofessional and rude response from the manager on duty just because of that. I hang around for 3 hours for them to finish the bike, but it felt like they were punishing me on purpose. I ended up returning the item (without even receiving the bike) and bought a ready to ride bike from a store across the street. I love the store but seems like you need to train better your staff specially the manager that should be there to solve this kind of issues.

My very first time in the store. I am in the market to buy a commuter bike. I went upstairs and saw two ladies, one bike mechanic, one guy talking to the bike mechanic and another younger guy chatting with the two ladies. I was the only customer upstairs. The bike selection and prices were amazing. I found the bike I was interested in. I looked around for anybody that could help me. One of the ladies walked by me and looked right into my eyes as i was standing next to the bike without even saying a hello. After a few minutes, it was very evident to me that nobody was interested in helping me at all. To make sure, I wandered over to the bike mechanic and guy at the bike counter. They saw me browsing slowly and completely ignored me never once even acknowledging my existence. They proceeded to chat about some vacation. After about 20 minutes, I decided to leave. It really is a shame that a store with that amazing of a selection of bikes has employees that could care less. I ended up walking across the street and purchasing a bike from a bike shop where the employees actually seemed interested in helping me. I will let my family and friends know to avoid Sports Junkies.

Unfortunately I cannot shop at this store any longer. I had a major malfunction with a ski binding that could have ended in catastrophic injury. When I brought the skis in I was told that they will not help me out at all. $375 down the drain in 10 days of skiing. One staff member was decent but they should look into having conflict resoultion training for the other staff member who needlessly became antagonistic. Look elsewhere for your gear and steer clear of sport junk on Broadway.

Lots of inventory with a good variety of both new and second hand items from climbing shoes to cycling gear to skiing boots. I came in today to get my first ski set second hand, although there weren’t any used skis in my size I did get a pair of used ski boots that were in good condition and very reasonably priced. Shout out to Connor for patiently explaining everything in detail to me and also giving me tips on how to have a more comfort fit. He made sure to check up on me often and I never felt lost in the selection process. The cashier at the front desk with a buzz cut was also extremely friendly and welcoming, although I forgot to ask his name! In all, I had a great experience here and will definitely come back again!
