Minus 5 stars: They told me that I should pay 40$ for putting the screw back to my glasses. I understand that I did not buy my glasses from New Look and that it's reasonable to pay. But 40$ is ridiculous. Plus 1 star: They told me in advance that I should pay 40$.

Did not want to help adjust the glasses I recently purchased because they were bought at a different Newlook. Very rude staff. Treating me as if I was trying to get freebies out of them when my glasses, purchased at a Newlook, just needed slight adjustments.

Please, if you are considering this place, read the reviews and trust the reviews here. I have had an appointment with them, after reading the bad views, I sent a message to cancel the appointment with them. There was no confirmation of the cancellation received from them, but a appointment confirmation from them. I called them to confirm with the appointment, they told me that I can still go for the appointment. But on the appointment day, my name was not there, and they told me that I canceled the appointment. I was not well informed about the cancellation, but got misleading information from them. They did not apologize to me about their error that happened in their system, and looked at me as if I was the one who is wrong. Very bad booking system. It was a waste of time , i felt horrible after being in their store. I do not recommend this store. Please avoid it !

Extremely disappointed; I expressedly asked for and emphasized on the fact that I did NOT want any form of yellowish tainting they put in glasses in my glasses;I did not care for it, had it in my previous glasses and it just annoyed the heck out of me Their sales representative proceeded in vaguely discrediting my feelings towards the technology and praising the merits of it; to which I sympathetically answered that as much as I got his point, it did not, for a single second, change anything about the fact that I hated the feeling of that technology, therefore did not want to have it installed in my new glasses. Their employee proceeded in ignoring my explicit request and putting his own preference in my order instead. I'm amidst finals at school and do not have time to deal this with them; which I should not have to, since me wish towards my view and how I like my glasses should have been respected in the 1st place, end of story. I just don't understand why someone would do anything like this it's utterly ridiculous and disrespectful

How is that the doctors are always kind and helpful but the staff are cold and treat you like you are beneath them? On the phone they were very nice but in person, it's another story. The last time I purchased glasses for my son, they were not helpful at all. No advice on what would be the best type of frame for his prescription strength, no help at all. They look at you like you are not deserving of their help and you are a nuisance, taking up their time. Just very cold people. I have bought several pairs of glasses from them in the past but I can say for sure that I will never buy another pair of glasses from them. I can't wait for my son to get his new glasses which I purchased from a much better place. The 3 stars are only for the doctors who do the eye exams, they are wonderful.

Not happy with their services. Called to order contact lenses for my daughter who's studying abroad about 3 weeks ago and then someone from the store called that it's ready. When I arrived there it's not there yet and had to wait another day/ two. In the meantime, the one who was supposed to bring the contact lenses to my daughter left already. I had to send them by courier as they don't have a service to ship them abroad. Too bad, you just lost your customer.

I work downtown and from wearing a mask all day my glasses tend to stretch. This morning they were literally sliding off my face when I bent forward in the slightest way. Although this is not my usual Newlook store, this one is the closest to my work. I went in this morning to get an adjustment and was told I needed an appointment for that, ok but there were zero customers inside. I was also told it would cost $50!!! What??!!! I’ve been wearing glasses for ever and this is usually a free service. So I crossed the street and went to the LensCrafters inside the Place Montreal Trust and my glasses were adjusted in 5 minutes and for free!! Shame on you NEWLOOK!

I went in on January 31st to place an order after my glasses broke. The lady was kind enough to tell me the glasses may take up to 3 weeks to be done due to pandemic delays. Unfortunately I called 3 weeks later on February the 21st as I had received no news. The gentleman said it was unusual and they should arrive by Friday. He added he would follow up. I just called at 4:30 PM on the Friday and the same gentleman very casually told me he had left himself a note for Monday to follow up. He did not apologize for the inconvenience and didn't seem to realize he was ensuring that it would take well over a month to receive my glasses if he only followed up 4 weeks after the sale was made. I find the lack of professionalism and care about one's eyesight quite disappointing. It becomes less interesting to deal with a physical store if you're not providing the customer service that could set you apart from websites which charge significantly less.
