A	A&B Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel has the most amazing staff. I was having issues with American Express travel and needed the front desk staff to assist in confirming some information. HUGE shout out to Jodee for her patience and helpfulness. I also needed assistance at 2:00am and spoke to another front desk staff (maybe Maria) and she was amazing as well. Jodee and her associate are both amazing and the hotel is very lucky to have these ladies as their representatives. We look forward to visiting with them in the future.

We had not booked a hotel in advance, so we stopped at Mount Royal and asked if they had rooms available. They did so we stayed for one night before continuing on our road trip. Parking was a little bit tricky, but hotel staff were super helpful in providing the necessary information. We were very impressed with the room and the view directly on to Banff Ave AND the mountains! We really enjoyed the 5th floor, open air hot tubs. The lounge and outdoor patio were really nice! We made use of that area a few times during our short stay. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Banff, so everything is within walking distance - so convenient. The room was clean and well put together, with some nice updates. We would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Banff.

Hotel room was clean, surprisingly no noise unlike reviews I read. Staff members were accommodating for me to inspect room prior to booking. Fair rate as well, location is in the heart of Banff which was perfect for our family weekend excursion. Thank you for the memorable stay and great service even when short staffed.

Rooftop jacuzzis are awesome with views of the mountains and stars but it can be difficult to get a turn, there's only 2 and it's busy all the time. Parking lot is small so ended up doing street parking, not the end of the world. Fun hotel but temper your expectations.
E	Evan Ashdown on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location of this hotel is the primary reason for all the good reviews and it is the only thing we enjoyed about this hotel. The staff at the front desk were friendly enough but come 4 pm, our room was not ready. They could not get an answer from housekeeping as to why. We expressed that we had plans relying on our room being ready. After more than 30 minutes, they finally decided to put us in a different room that was ready. Parking is a joke. They give out far more passes than they have spots available. This means that your $5/day parking is not reserved in any manner. You could leave for 1 hour and come back to no spots and have to go pay for public parking. The hot tubs are open 10-10, 4 persons per hot tub, 2 hot tubs. This means 2 rooms out of the 4 floors of rooms can use the hot tubs which is a big selling point of this hotel. There is no Bell or Valet service to speak of at this hotel. During our visit, the Tony Roma's was closed. As a result, they have closed off 1/3 elevators that go to the main floor and the main stairwell with drywall. This made the lobby very unclean and an eyesore. It also meant the elevators were always busy.
R	Robin M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The front desk is amazing. They were very friendly and treated us like family. Unfortunately, the rest of the customer service is awful. One of the hot tubs was closed and they didn’t let us have more then 4 people in one of the hot tubs even though we had 5 people in our room. They were not nice to us in regards to the hot tub and gave us a hard time for having one extra person in the tub. Finding your room is an absolute maze and is not worth the hassle. The prices are too expensive for what you get. There are nicer hotels in Banff for better prices, and you will regret choosing this hotel. If you don’t mind being a bit far from the main strip of Banff, please look into the hidden ridge resort. The prices are better and the customer service is far better than this hotel. I had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately I was let down.
D	Darnell Kebo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here in Jan 2022. Very nice property located in the heart of Banff. Very walkable. Staff is friendly and responsive. Hotel room was clean and had a nice view of the mountains. Walls are pretty thin and sound travels easily. There was a really loud group next door partying until 2am. Contacted front desk. I believe they spoke to the group but the noise continued.
D	Denise M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel was awesome. Perfect location. Super comfy beds. Didn't make it to the rooftop hot tubs, but they looked amazing, despite one being down. We had a room that faced Banff Ave and they provided ear plugs in case of street noise. The view was stunning. Wish they had Rocky Mountain Soap products to support local, though. Great stay!
