Ryan is very curtious and shows attention to detail. Set up the groomsmen rental there and also did a few suit alterations. Best to book an appointment.

Got myself a suit for my wedding and dressed up my wedding party here. We all had such a good time! The store manager & staff did an outstanding job providing fashion advice and getting us into great looking clothes for the occasion. I had poor previous experiences at Moore's stores in Ottawa - bad fitting suits and bad help - so I was really hesitant to shop at Moore's for my wedding. All my expectations were so heavily surpassed here and I had a great time too. I would highly recommend shopping at this location, even if you've had bad experiences at Moore's before. This store does it right!!

Terrible customer service. No greeting when me and spouse walked in. No associate came over to ask if we needed any help. After waiting for 5 minutes I walked up to the front desk and asked if we could have some assistance with sizes. The man behind the desk said β€œyeah sure just a moment”. He seemed annoyed that even asked and he really didn’t seem busy, it was quite empty in the store. Waited another 5 minutes, still nothing. Then we left. Worst retail service.

We recently visited Moores in Ottawa to find dress pants for a friend, after having a positive experience at a Toronto location. The sales associate seemed kind at first, but then started to fat shame and ridicule my friend's weight. He would compare my friend's physique to another customer who was more slim. I found this whole experience incredibly unprofessional; the least the associate could have done was politely say that Moores does not carry larger sizes (which is untrue because my friend had success with Moores at other locations). If you're looking for kindness and inclusivity, this Moores falls very short of the mark.

If I could give this woman a 0 I would. We went in to get my fiancΓ© sized & see what potential rental items he could try so we can make decisions for our wedding. Once we mentioned that we were ordering through Moore’s in a different city, it seemed (as I can’t say for sure) that her mood shifted completely (no commission from us). Her responses were curt & we had to pry for information. There was no offer to help my fiancΓ© try on a full suit, offer shirts to try or anything of the sort. When given pants we had to further prompt β€œβ€¦is there a changing room available for use?”. We immediately felt uncomfortable & the excitement of the visit was taken away. When he tried on the pants she walked away from me to check her phone in the middle of the store instead of sharing further information with me or conversing in any form & returned when she noticed us standing there waiting. We finally decided to just leave as it was so uncomfortable & as we left she stated β€œIf you come back on a weekend be sure to book an appointment because as you can see it gets busy.” As soon as we came in she walked right to us & offered to help. Requiring an appointment was not mentioned or asked about whatsoever. We would have absolutely waited if asked, yet it seems that even if we waited we would have received terrible service from this girl. I’m aware one review may not make a difference but if it encourages management to speak with this employee perhaps the next couple can have an enjoyable experience shopping for their wedding.

We visited may 19th, in the evening time. We called ahead because my boyfriend is on the larger side and wanted to make sure they had shirts that fit him. We talked to Blake on the phone just to inquire and he reassured us he had what we needed. We never asked to put anything aside or to pull samples, and to our surprise when we walked in Blake had pulled shorts for my boyfriend to try right away in the colours he was even thinking of wearing! Fantastic guy all around. Then Mike was the one to help us piece together a BEAUTIFUL look with a dress shirt, matching tie, that compliments his suit. What a wonderful experience they were so helpful and so kind!! Thank you guys so much for helping him look fabulous at my brothers wedding ❀️

I am not one one to write reviews positive or negative but I was appalled with the reception I received at Train Yards Moores last evening. I have never felt so unwelcome in a store! I walked in this Moores Clothing store at the Train Yards Ottawa yesterday after 6 pm looking for my partner's birthday present. The store had about 5 customers, needing different services, relatively busy I would say. There were two Associates at the Cash, a man and a woman managing a customer, both Associates glanced at me and looked back to what they were doing. Also, there were two other Associates at the back of the store, managing customers. I was like, their hands are full. But I noticed that even when they finished with their customers, they gathered at the back discussing their work, and none of them had said "Hello" or "Can I help you" it was like I did not exist. I questioned myself whether it was because I was a black woman or just woman, so I chose to go with, because I am "woman". My go to Moores is South Keys, they have excellent customer service, I thought this Moores was the same. I had browsed for approximately 20 minutes, and no one had spoken to me, until I stood at the cash for an additional 10 minutes, yes I was counting because time to me means a lot. Then I saw the lady Associate coming towards the cash, and I pointed out to her that I know I was a woman maybe not fit for this store, but can someone help me at the cash so that I can get out of your place. The response was a lame "Sorry we are so busy, and understaffed" I have seen worse busy in stores, yet I have received a, "hello, we will be there with you soon, please keep browsing". I informed the lady, I was very disappointed in their behavior and I will never go back or refer anyone to them. As I was leaving, a Caucasian couple was entering, and I heard a very bouncy joyful HELLO greeting, that stunned me! I felt sad, that we have continued walking on a stone age path in the 21st century.

I purchased a custom suit for my wedding, and the staff here made me look and feel like a million bucks! Everything from walking me through options, updating me on shipping and deadlines, and making final alterations, was done with knowledge and expertise. Their confidence in the product and skills of their tailors made me feel like I was in good hands, especially during the stress of the wedding planning! Thanks Ryan for your hard work, you’ve made a customer for life!!
