Markville Ford Lincoln

I place an order for a 2022 Ford Edge on Dec 28. I was told by the salesman that they don't have an Edge in stock but they have a car coming in and the order might take 1-6 months. I was told to put a deposit and was given a payment but was told that payment might change when the car comes in as program might be different at that time. I was told not to worry as if the payment goes too high, i have the option of cancelling the deal and get my deposit back. I was also told that I can cancel the order anytime if I can't wait for the car. After a couple of days, I called the dealership to cancel the order as I came to realized that the Ford Edge is going to get discontinued. This information was never mentioned and it is an important matter for me as I don't want to own a discontinued model. I've sent several requests for my order to be cancelled and my deposit be returned but was just being ignored by the dealership. Avoid this dealership at all cost. They don't care about you and all the want is your money. I called a few days after I gave them the deposit. I don't think anything was done at that point. Avoid this place at all cost!!!

Update February 23 2022 Since I posted last, I worked with Marcus Grier to order a 2020 Explorer ST. Marcus was able to pull the last production vehicle in Chicago in August 2020 and it was delivered in time for a series of road trips all over Ontario over the following 3 months. Six more trips, two moves of my children, and ST has been a versatile and enjoyable vehicle. Marcus is the real story here, as each time I asked for a difficult to source vehicle, he has always delivered. Each time I have picked up my new car, Marcus's attention detail has been nothing short of amazing. If you have not dealt with Marcus, then you are missing out on a professional customer service experience that is becoming too rare these days, where ofter the customer is expected to be thankful that a sales executive has taken the time to understand their vehicle needs. Marcus I have no problem thanking you and endorsing you for anyone that is looking to find the perfect Ford or Lincoln as their next vehicle. I will start out saying that I was never one to shop North American vehicles but after many years of VW, Mazda, Honda and Nissan products I was ready for a change. That change came one day 4 years ago In the form of a 2015 Mustang Magnetic Gray! It was love at first sight. I leased my first Mustang at Markville which was an EcoBoost 6M. Loved the car and drove it for 24 months (winters included). Unbelievably well sorted out and met all my expectations. I’ve worked with now 5 different individuals at Markville and they have all earned my trust - Jesse, Ken, Heidi, Dave and now Marcus Grier! Stars all round. Now I could leave the review right here and you may say - they asked you to write it or it’s a one off - well I have now leased three Mustangs moving to the 2017 Performance Pack 1 and then recently with the subtle yet meaningful updates to the 2019 Performance Pack 1 - each time a great experience and of them all Marcus made my wish come true - I made the poor fella drive in the rain and arrange a PP2 for me and then manage a couple of alterations till I got exactly what I wanted. Hats off to the team at Markville and one of their newer teammates Marcus! Looking forward to 2021 Model!!

Following the pandemic, my sibling and I were looking for a new car. We were directed to our sales rep, Johnny Chan, who was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Upon arrival, he walked us through every detail and feature of the car, even explaining the specs. Although we arrived near closing time, Johnny continued to demonstrate some of the cool new features the car has. From browsing to test driving, we felt no pressure or rush in making a decision. In the end, we decided on getting our first Lincoln car, the 2022 Nautilus, at this location. Johnny was a pleasure to deal with, he kept us posted on the delivery progress of our vehicle during our wait. We recently purchased a vehicle from Markville Ford and was extremely happy with the support and help given to us by Charlies our sales consultant. Charlie really did something right as we had just gone in to look at the new electric SUV and ended up 2 hrs. later buying a vehicle for ourselves. Charlie ran around the dealership which was really busy on a Sunday to find a vehicle that suited our needs and requirement. Charlie guided us with great patience, expertise and professionalism to the chose a vehicle that fit well for our families needs. I would also like to mention Paul, who did such a wonderful and thorough job in explaining the functionality of the car and patiently addressed all our questions. All I can say is that, Charlie and Paul made the whole experience of buying a new car noteworthy and seamless. While Johnny was not present during the time of signing our new lease for our Bronco Sport, he took over our account after the fact a week later and was extremely helpful and responsive. He had formally introduced himself to us as the new Sales Consultant and asked how we were enjoying our new car. A few days later, I had some questions and concerns relating to our old lease. My partner and I ordered our Hybrid Escape 3 months ago at Ford Markham after deciding to trade in our Mercedes (we came to the Markham location after having a negative experience at Ford East Court Toronto, the dealership was unprofessional and dirty). Johnny navigated us wonderfully through the process, showed patience and provided all the information we needed to make the decision of buying our first ford.
