Extremely overpriced.$45 for steak and if you want a side of runny mashed potatoes that's going to cost you another $11.$26 for two poached eggs on a single slice of toast with a side of tomatoes. These guys trying to come off as epicureans but they don't know the difference between an heirloom tomato and a cherry tomato. I could go on. But I won't

Had dinner, lovely place with extremely friendly service. Food was equally delicious. A stroll after dinner around the lodge was breathtaking.

Really nice hotel in Kananaskis. Rooms were clean and comfortable, great views of the forest and mountains. Tons of restaurants and amenities. Staff was very friendly and professional.

So beautiful! Driving up to the smell of campfire, that immediately won me over! What a perfect spot in the mountains! Service was wonderful. Weird to have all toiletries but no shampoo. Otherwise perfect.

I drove 4 hours to get there for a vacation. There was an honest mistake with the booking date. I was told there was nothing they could do. I spoke with the assistant manager Rohit Makhija and he wouldn’t help me in anyway. Extremely disappointed with the lack of help I received.

VACATIONER BEWARE: Everything here is expensive!!! Sure, you'll be fine if you're an upper-class, well-off white person (the resort's main clientele, if you ask me) or tax-evading politician, but if you're an Average Joe Canadian hit hard by the double whammy of Covid-19 and inflation, be prepared to budget and save where you can. I'd skip the main restaurant if I were you, only the pizzas are worth the price (~25 bucks for eight large slices). The little shops are nice, they sell a lot of niche food items you can't buy in Edmonton or Calgary (special flavors of nacho chips, specialty Oreo, Kit-Kat, Reese's, condiments, coffee & soda etc.) so if you're into that sort of thing, buy it because you never know when you'll get to have it again. The scenery around the main lodge is really nice, and the Wifi signal is present & strong throughout the resort. The buildings throughout the resort (i.e the adjacent accommodations like Crosswaters) could use some work, shingles need replacing, old paint needs to be stripped and a fresh coat applied. Most of the work seems to have gone into the main lodge, the Pomeroy Kananaskis, but it also houses the priciest rooms, plus the two restaurants, the cafΓ© and one of the little shops. The little shops: Both really great. One's got good, affordable breakfast sandwiches, along with treats and AMAZING soft serve, the other's got the niche food items, some handmade local crafts (wallets, jewelry, keychains, etc.). If you want a cheap breakfast or lunch or good ice cream, go to the little shop located outside of the main lodge. Overall, I'd rate 7/10, not worth the price you pay for everything but worth the scenery & photo opportunities. If you don't want to harm your wallet, go to Banff, Lake Louise, or better yet, Jasper.

Storybook Christmas! What a lovely place to spend Christmas! Surrounded by evergreens this Lodge was filled with tasteful Christmas decor, happy children, adults and being a pet-friendly place, there were dogs! The dogs were on leashes and were very well behaved. They brought more fun to the atmosphere. The food was delectable, delicious and the service was friendly and professional. The buffet Christmas menu was amazing and had a great variety of entrees. The Nordic Spa was rejuvenating. We spent a whole day cyclying between the steam rooms, hot and cold pools and saunas along with stops at the bistro for lunch, snacks and refreshments. It was an amazing therapudic day The massage added on was so worth having. Definitely going back!

This is a return trip to this lodge but last time was under different owner. I can see the upgrades but if I were asked if the new price is worth it... the old ownership gave us a better deal with better room and better service. There were better food too. Now, more expensive but average room, same old carpet and furniture and no one from the restaurant answer the phone.
