Trust me, you have to taste their banana bread. Seriously, it's beyond delicious. Most amazing dish ever! Dipped in warm chocolate, with a side of tasty fruits. The chef is the best chef ever, we're major fans! The place is really nice with a fireplace and the staff is lovely. Seriously, go try the banana bread. If you don't, shame on you!

Good food, fantastic service, and cozy ambiance. What more can you ask for! You can eat in your robes after a massage, or in between taking a break from the pools/saunas/steam rooms. Get a massage in the morning, do a circuit of the pools/saunas/steams, go upstairs and grab some lunch in your robe by the fire at Two Trees Bistro, and head back for more pool/sauna/steam time.

Amazing lunch here at Two Trees after a very relaxing day at the Kananaskis Nordic Spa. The open face sandwiches, homemade soup, and stew all in front of a hot fire is a perfect day in the Rockies. The service was wonderful and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend taking a break from the spa to enjoy your lunch here, or just read a book by the fire.

Food was a bit pricey but worth the experience when you are at the spa! It was very relaxing and extremely delicious. It definitely helped rejuvenate our muscles after being in hydrotherapy the entire day!

After having a refreshing spa day, it is a must to experience this place. Again, the ambiance and cabin feels is great. We ordered the appetizer MIDDLE EAST MEZZEH having three different dips and it won't disappoint you. They are so tasty and a great choice to pick while waiting for your main meal. A great choice to share with your partner or friend as it consists 4 warm flat bread. We each ordered the Croque Nordic and Chicken Panini. They are both big serving each served with small salad on the side. Mind you, if you are like me who can't finish slices of panini, it is best to choose a meal to share. They don't allow take-out boxes, which I totally understand, to prevent from leaving food litter in the pool areas. Would like to commend Joseph, the server, for your service. He asks you for any food allergies you might have on the items you pick, which is a great idea in my opinion.

I’ll be honest when I first came to this bistro I was alittle disappointed in what the offered on the menu. Wasn’t as big is i would’ve liked it. But the food that they had was delicious! Everything was quite fresh and very good atmosphere. It makes much more sense that they would offer lighter food because of the spa. So bringing that into consideration I will gladly give them 5 stars because they are offering exactly what they should be in a place like that! Just make sure to put your name down and hope in the pool or sit by the fire while you wait to be called ;)

A group of friends and I went to the Nordic Spa in January and had lunch halfway through our day at the Two Trees Bistro. I have been to the Nordic Spa about eight times, and every time I've wanted to try the Bistro, but never felt hungry or compelled enough to go in. We went on a Monday, and the spa itself wasn't overly busy, but the inside of the Bistro was pretty full. The furniture was comfortable, staff was friendly, and background music was exactly what you would think would be playing at a spa--think a non-scary "Tubular Bells". We tried to order a number of the drink items on the menu, but there were quite a few things that "they were out of". So clearly the menu needed to be reprinted. I think there was only one food menu item they didn't have. The food arrived quickly, we didn't feel pressured at all to be quick or leave. We tried the cheeseboard and meat charcuterie, and one of the desserts. A friend tried the Croque Nordic, and I had the Chicken Panini. The food was pretty great, but a little pricey for what they offered. Really, it was a good experience, and something I was happy to try once. But not something I would likely do again. The bar in the actual hotel has really great food for quite reasonable prices and would urge you to consider doing a day at the spa and capping it off with a burger (and banana bread pudding) at the bar.
