About Kananaskis Nordic Spa
Please note that we are experiencing a very high volume of requests since re-opening.
If you are trying to book an hydrotherapy access session and cannot find the date you are looking for, this session might simply be sold out as we have a significantly reduced capacity following AHS guidelines.

β β β β β This Nordic spa has 2 cold, 2 warm, 2 hot pools. As well, with saunas, steam and exfoliating rooms. We went through 4 cycles from hot, warm, cold and repeat before steam rooms and exfoliating room. We really enjoyed the eucalyptus steam room. I also enjoyed the Alchemist more than my hubby. The only issue people were talking loudly and laughing throughout our spa experience. We could even hear their conversation in sauna rooms and they were in the hot pool. It almost felt like a party spa. If you are looking for a fully relaxing silent Nordic spa experience this is not the spa for you. If you donβt mind βnoiseβ throughout your experience Kananaskis Nordic Spa is for you.
The robes provided were nice and thick as it was -18 degrees Celsius outside. I appreciate they had size 5 sandals which you can ask staff in the changing room for a smaller size.
When I went for shower in the womanβs changing room it was busy and ~50% were not wearing mask. I didnβt dry my hair as I wanted to exit quickly.

β β β β β The facility is really great and itβs an amazing experience, however, my latest trip to the spa however, was just too busy. Paying 120 dollars to not be able to use all of the spaβs amenities due to over crowding is not my idea of a relaxing day. There were so many people in each pool that you couldnβt listen to nature, instead you had to listen to other peoples conversations. The bistro was also a 50 minute wait. The first time I went to the spa was during the pandemic which was ran in two shifts. I would still be willing to pay the same admission for a shorter period of time if it meant my experience was way more serene. I appreciate being a business and needing to make money but I honestly would not return if I knew to expect that many people next time.

β β β β β Very good place to come and relax. Love all the hot and cold pools. Steam room is amazing. Sauna is definitely great. My dislike about this place is the price. I have been going here for the past couple of years and have witnessed the price go from 80 to 120 dollars not including when you had to schedule morning or evenings. Glad it is back to full day. Also the two tree bistro doesnβt have a great selection of food to pick from. Overall itβs a great place and will be back hopefully sometime soon. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

β β β β β Great facility and experience.
Other Nordic spas I've been to have a "no talking" policy, which I feel enhances the experience greatly; I was disappointed that wasn't the case here (although I can see this way being more appealing to groups visiting the spa).

β β β β β Beautiful Spa, great experience, friendly staff. Only complaint was we had to carry around our masks in plastic green 'doggy bags'. Robes with pockets would have been ideal.

β β β β β You have to go here!! This place is so relaxing. We spent the whole day here then the next day did a night round. The hotel is great and attached to the spa. The spa has a nice little restaurant I'd suggest getting both the cheese board and charcuterie together as the charcuterie doesn't have cheese. The massage was great and staff is very friendly. Travel canada and hit this spot.

β β β β β Finally made it here with my sister for a birthday celebration and we had SUCH a beautiful day. The saunas, steam rooms and pools were all absolutely lovely, our massages were amazing and lunch was delicious! Definitely would recommend!!

β β β β β Iβm so happy this place was recommended to me. Such an incredible experience with your family, friends or partner. Such a relaxing experience especially if youβre able to get in for a massage. The cafe is great aswell. Not huge portions more like a light meal and appy type of place which is perfect. Canβt wait to go back
