★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful location. We were there for a trail running event. I only saw the trails and I guess what they would call the main chalet (ie. For the bathrooms) From what I could tell, they have very nice facilities, gorgeous outdoor area and access to some amazing trails. It looks like lots of outdoor activities as well like kayaking. Definitely a place to visit or stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trails are full of rocks, which is different from other trails. The view at the top of Mont Kaaikop is fantastic. The only surprise I had is the parking is actually on the street, but that is no big deal. The lake is beautiful and the water is very clear. There are trails just around the lake with access to the water at some spots. Be careful though there is a few km of dirt road (about 8 min drive) before reaching the accueil, and there are big holes at some places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really pretty, I don't think their time estimates for the duration of the hikes are very accurate. The main trails are very well marked, with some very nice views. However, their less frequently used trails are not so well marked and kind of overgrown.
Price is good, but it's a lil odd that you have to pay for hiking and for visiting the beach.. Kinda feels like the beach should be included in the park access.
Overall, very good experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in a gîte. A small 200 sq feet cabin that can sleep 4 comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen with a small mini fridge. Beach was nice and clean. The lake was beautiful with very little seaweed or mushy things. Fed by warm springs as well as cold the water was beautiful. Full availability of kayaks, double kayaks, canoes and paddle boards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to camp or go hiking. The view from the top is great and there is 2 look out points, but the second one is the best. Both view points have rocky terrain that you can sit and have lunch while looking over the country side. The trail begins easy at first but as you climb up it gets more rocky and the altitude can kick some air out of you. Not many people in the trails. But be aware that signage isn’t the greatest as we got lost and ended up taking a longer route.
