If I could give this place 0 stars I wouldn’t hesitate. I have stayed here numerous times over the last few years. The only thing going for it is the location. Browns is across the parking lot for dinner and beers. Definitely not worth the $150/night they feel they’re worth. Generally pretty mediocre hotel, nothing too disappointing, until you meet John Anderson, the hotel general manager. I have zero idea how this fellow made it into his position, he’s an embarrassment to the hotel industry and you can definitely tell that his β€œcharm” is wearing on his staff and hotel. The hallways smell like sour milk, garbage stays outside of room doors for days on end without being collected and the staff do the bare minimum to assist guests. I made the mistake of mentioning to the front desk that the rear key access to the hotel didn’t work so John proceeded to intervene, come around the front desk (maskless, against Saskatchewan health orders) and scream at me about how expensive the locks are to replace. When I asked why he was being so hostile over a door lock he invented some garble that he said I said and stormed off ignoring me when I asked for his name. Thanks to his front desk agent who had no problem proving me with his business card. I was shocked when it said hotel GM on it. All in all if you just need a place to sleep, the rooms are good enough for that but if you need anything else or expect bare necessities to be operational don’t get your hopes up. Don’t bother mentioning it and just carry on with your day.

After staying with them I was told the reciept would be sent by email. Obviously it was not. So after calling them, this guy called Lee answered the phone and was very unproffessional "ye men I see it Ill send it".... never sent, called again 30 times before Lee decided to answer again, he said he would scan it and send it... NOTHING... I have never seen a more unproffessional hotel in my entire life lol... I could not believe and still cannot... Avoid this place

Clean, nice rooms and a good breakfast. Staff members weren't the friendliest. But not overly bad. Would stay again.

UPDATE - The manager reached out and he apologized for being unprofessional and how our experience was. He rectified the problem. We are willing to give the Days in another try. Thank you John for reaching out. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. We had just drove 11 years from Edmonton to attend a Funeral. When we got to the hotel to check in we discovered that the accessible room was only 1 queen bed and we needed 2 beds in the room. We asked the lady that was looking after us if there was any other rooms available with 2 beds. She looked and looked and looked and as she was looking the guy in a Cowboy Hat came behind the counter and basically yelled at me and said "If you reserved online that is what came through". He was very dismissive and unprofessional. We found every representative was unprofessional and not properly trained. The Cowboy was not even in any type of uniform and did not even look like an employee. I will never stay here again.

Traveling to northern BC April 14, 2022 we needed a place to stay with our young children and a puppy. This was one of maybe 2 options. The person who checked us in was not friendly at all. He lacked customer service greatly. He checked us in to a room that had not been cleaned properly. There was one bed made up and one that was stripped of its linen. There was also left over fast food garbage on the night stand. I went to the front desk to let them know. It was a different guy and he was much friendlier. He apologized. As he was checking to see what happened the first guy came back. He never apologized to us for the mishap (it was 11 pm and we had kids and a puppy to settle down. Though I was understanding of the error, an apology would have been appreciated.) The next room was better but still not super clean. There was hair on the bedding and something splashed on the bathroom walls. This time we chose to just stay in that room and get to sleep as we had an early morning. If we were staying longer I would have went back to the desk. The good thing about the hotel was the complimentary breakfast. Lots of options!
