β β β β β I had my consultation and surgery on the same day at the Edmonton City Centre clinic. Everything went smoothly from start to finish - the staff is very friendly and professional, and the surgery itself was painless and took around only 10 minutes once I was in the operating room. Make sure to ask questions during the consultation process, and follow the aftercare (eyedrops!) that is provided by the clinic. 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to upgrade their lifestyle without glasses or contacts. Even if you are still skeptical, book a free consultation - it's worth it!

β β β β β After 15 years of using glasses, this surgery changed my life completely. I'm grateful for all the services at LASIK MD at the City Center. The results were terrific, and I could see clearly after 24h of the surgery. The team is very friendly and supportive, and I want to thank Velma and Dr. Dorey for their kindness and support. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get rid of their glasses.

β β β β β I just did my eye surgery a couple of days ago and I highly recommend LASIK MD Edmonton! The staff were so nice and was accommodating. The staff that really stand out the most was Velma. She went around the entire clinic asking all patients if they needed any water or anything. I asked her for a Tylenol since I was having a mild headache while waiting in the lounge area and she immediately asked her co-staff if that was allowed, and got my medication afterwards.
Velma did my 2nd consultation and my follow-up check up the next day. She was very informative and was so thorough on answering all my questions.
Dr. Kam did my surgery and he did amazingly and was re-assuring. for the entire surgery which lasted for only a couple of minutes. He briefly explained what he was doing during surgery which lasted for only a couple of minutes
My least favourite was the waiting process, I was at the clinic for 6hrs. But I will still give this clinic 100% rating for their professionalism.

β β β β β I just finished my eye surgery yesterday and definitely recommend LASIK! Velma did my consultation and post op assessment and she was so great and thorough. I had to travel five hours to come, and she ensured that everything was set up and organized in advance so I could ensure proper childcare and travel arrangements.
Had she not been so accommodating and made it so much easier to organize our childcare/work/travelling I wouldnβt have booked but I am SO happy I did.
The entire staff was welcoming and informative- the operating Dr. Royaz was so kind and reassuring, and Junior was hilarious and so kind.
I will never hesitate to recommend this branch of LASIK to anyone looking to take the leap in their vision journey!

β β β β β Amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and the atmosphere of the clinic was positive and laid back, which made me calm and less anxious. The procedure took 10 minutes. Most of the surgical day is spent doing tests and measurements. The post surgery recovery is very straight forward and easy to follow. The healing timeline dependant on the type of surgery you get but for the most part it is quick and painless. For me I got LASIK and I had 20/20 by the next day. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking about getting it.

β β β β β My experience with LASIK MD at City Centre Mall was nothing short of amazing. From the moment you walk in the service you receive is top notch. All of the staff and medical professionals were so kind and prepared me for everything that I would expect before, during, and after, the LASIK procedure. One of the Ophthalmic Technicians, Velma Veloria, went above and beyond during my virtual consultation and surgery day and deserves recognition as she developed a rapport with me as a patient which really surprised me. I am more than satisfied with my LASIK experience and definitely believe it is worth every penny as it is life changing. Customer service is such a valuable asset in any business/organization especially in the medical field, and LASIK MD at City Centre Mall gets a perfect score!

Both teams at LASIK MD (124 Street and City Centre) were friendly, courteous, and professional (a big thanks to the techs at City Centre, thank you Velma! Thanks Sylvester!) I had been waiting a long time to get it done; pricing was at an affordable rate, procedure was quick and done with care (Thank you Dr. Dorey!). Results have been immediate for me, only 24 hours after the procedure. If you're on the fence, I would suggest reaching out to the LASIK MD team to find which option is best for you.
