β β β β β I cannot say enough good things about Baker Optical. In the last year I purchased a pair of glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses from them.
The service I received was outstanding - Natasha and Phillip both took the time to help me find the type of frame I was looking for (lightweight yet durable), and they recommended specific styles and colours for my face. Seems like they know what they are doing because I constantly get compliments on my frames. AND I'm wearing them way more often than my old pair of uncomfortable glasses.
I am very pleased with the products and service from this establishment. They really take care of their customers!

β β β β β Iβm not keen on giving this review, but it is from a place of hurt and disappointment that I am writing this. I came to place because of the positive reviews, but my experience was far from positive or good. I am also am working with customer service.
I had booked an appointment at 1400 and came with my son, I know the lady at the front desk was trying to help, but also making a client wait for an hour??
There is a general manners where you update a person on the progress of their appointment or billing, rather than stay silent and then inform them that the doctor has a new appointment and hence wouldnβt be able to complete my eye exam.
The doctor was with another client till 1430.
Honestly, saying, βsorry we couldnβt help youβ, would be kind. Especially after a client has been waiting for an hour and you werenβt able to cater.
I am a woman of colour, so Iβm wondering if this was related to that.
But I have a request, every client is important.
Respect is first given before expected. All through the time, I have never raised my voice or made a fuss.
But the attitude, is really sad. We all live in a world of uncertainty. Being kind never hurt anyone.

Not only do they have an amazing selection of frames to choose from, the customer service is beyond amazing. From the time you step you foot in the door you feel welcomed and at home. Anthony and his staff offer honest advice about the selection that is best for you. After your purchase they are there for you too taking care of adjustments and repairs. There is no other place I will go, the selection is so spectacular that I can never just purchase one new pair!

Baker Optical supports a variety of community and international charity groups such as fitting people in third world countries with glasses. β β β β β The quality of service from IRIS, formerly known as Baker Optical, was absolutely excellent. All of the staff were extremely helpful. There was a great deal of time put into helping me, not only to find the perfect frames to suit my face, but also for my personality.
I was very pleased that the staff were attentive to my needs and requests, and executed them perfectly.
I will only purchase my future frames at IRIS (Baker Optical).

β β β β β Uptown optomitry is part of this eye care and are awful. Absolutely atrocious customer service. They have so little care for their patients that they do not call them to update any information. They text me to remind me of me appointment, I even called earlier in the day to double check my appointment time. At NO point did any staff member make me aware they they were not direct billing and I would have to pay out of pocket. They cost me a day off of work and a babysitter. Absolutely unprofessional people. When I mentioned this happened, they had the nerve to argue that they called me. I will be actively yelling everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague.
