T	Trish Tomliens on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They wanted to charge me $38.00 for changing two watch batteries. When I questioned the price, she told me the battery cost $19 and she cleaned my watch. I sat there while she changed one of the watch batteries and no cleaning took place!! I refused to pay and had her remove the batteries. I went to London Drugs and purchased the same battery for $3.50. Not only was she trying to overcharge me, she was rude and had no customer service skills. Would never recommend or go back to this establishment!
B	Bryan George on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible place, I left my ring for repair and it appears that some of my real gold is missing and was replaced with cooper or super low quality gold, most of my ring is turning dark green. They worked on parts of the ring that didn't need repairs making it look ugly, patterns are changed and the discoloration... I can assume that there is something fishy going on over there, if you value your jewelry - avoid this place!!!

They fixed it in less then 10 mins for around 10 bucks!! Don't let the 1 star reviews steer you away... they were quick, professional and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone needing a quick battery replacement, they also have a variety of gorgeous jewelry. Thanks La Vie, I will definitely be coming back.
R	Rob Hargrove on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst jeweler in Victoria!! STAY AWAY!! I was told he could weld a pair of eyeglasses that had popped a small solder on the frame. I dropped in and spoke with the owner who said yes he could fix it, come back in 2 hours. I was absolutely horrified what he did to my $450 Hugo Boss frames!! He colored my matte brown frames in black sharpie pen that comes off by touching it where he repaired it! He even managed to melt the eyeglasses arm with the heat to the point the plastic is blistered and warped!! The soldering and repairs were of horrible quality…he destroyed my frames!! I’m so angry I paid before seeing them after the repair because he refused to refund my cash and a yelling match ensued. Take your business anywhere but here…

I was thinking at the most it would be $12 for each, and gave them some business. But this store is so bad. Mine was only cheap watches that do not need much professional work. I will never go back there. And I wondered why I saw no customers whenever I passed by the store, their attitude explain it.

They wrote my name crooked, and when I complained they blamed the quality of my name plate. They did not bother to warn me ahead of time that the metal would not work with their engraving process. Just took my money and botched the job.

I asked what it would cost to have the rotor bearings greased on my watch, and he tried to charge me $69, a number that just pop into his head. I said no thank you and he walked to the back of his shop and refused to put the back of the watch case back on! What an A-HOLE!
M	Mitsuo Maruyama on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is terrible, the worst attention in the universe, I left my watch to be cleaned and fixed, when I go to pick it up, the "gentleman" was not there and his daughter gave me the watch, which was dirty and scratched inside, the worst of all, had a hair, a strand of hair inside, incredible.... I waited an hour to talk to him and he acted crazy and told me that the work was already done. He is simply a scammer. We should all get together and sue him. Minus 10 stars
