β β β β β I rented a Range Rover from JC motors on Dec.14 2021. It was a three month rental agreement. The monthly payment is $3000, and the sales told me the company requested one month payment for the deposit. So, I paid $6000 totally on the first day. Every month I paid the rental on time. I returned the vehicle on last Tuesday (3/15), and I asked him to return the deposit to me. Unfortunately I was be told the sales didnβt work there anymore. I called the owner and she told me she would return the deposit to me one week later. Today (3/21) I texted the message to her again, and she said they donβt do rent business anymore; also, that was a private service. What??? Is it the excuse to refuse to return the deposit?
