We moved out on May 2020 with no-damage and clean condition. Site manager checked and promised the full refund of our deposit. It has been more than 6 months until today. During the 6 months, we contacted the site manager tons of times but always being told the cheque is on the way. Until today we contacted him again, we were told we own damage fee and dirty charge on our account. Does that mean all the answers β€œthe cheque is on the way” in the past were kidding us? Always no response to our calls or text. Always told us we’ll be contacted by the end of the day once he got any 1 min free time. We totally understand you guys are busy, but making our nice attitude as excuse made ZERO sense to us. We know things could happen and the deposit is not a lot. But issues should be solved on time. We’ll move to the next step if necessary to protect our rights.

I have lived at jasper heights for 6 months now and would not recommend the building as a rental. Even though I saw bad reviews, I decided to give it a chance, hoping the new management was improving the building and i was having a difficult time finding a dog friendly rental. Since moving in I have had many issues in my suite and the building itself has a ton of issues! The list of complaints and things that have broken is too long to list here and communication with management is awful. I chose this building over another because of the air conditioning, which I found out is not even cold, if it’s working at all in your suite. The gym is super dirty and there are no sanitation wipes. The front doors are constantly breaking and I have been either locked in or locked out multiple times. The pipes in my bathroom were rotten. My fridge broke. Getting anything fixed takes months! The complaints go on. The stress of living here is not worth the good location, especially with the high price of rent.

Went on a tour and was told the rental prices. I was then told that the leasing agent would be in touch in the next day or two to tell me if she could get a slightly lower price for me. Days go by with no email then I reached out to inquire and then recieved an email saying rent had just increased by over $100 dollars for all the units. This felt like a total bait and switch to me. You showed me one of the nicest units, got me interested, told me to wait, then jacked up the prices. Such crooked stuff. I will not be renting with you, especially when your website prices are so much lower than your actual prices and when you try to trick your way into higher rent. Shame shame shame.

I've been here since May and I love it! Not really sure why theres so much negative feedback. The management is probably one of the best you'll find in Edmonton. My experience at my last place was horrible, so this place is an amazing upgrade. Innes, Justin and Dave have all been super helpful and quick to fix any issues I've had and resolved them within the same day. Beautiful apartment, great location and affordable pricing. :)

This review isn't about the building but about the resident manager Justin Saunders. I had an appointment for a viewing on the 17th of January 2022 which he did not show up to and never responded to my calls or text messages the day of. It has now been about 2 full weeks and he hasn't answered one of my calls or emails. I have left messages with him the leasing office and even the Tribe corporate office. I would of loved to lived in Jasper Heights due to its location however if this is how Tribe is managed I will be avoiding all their locations and I would recommend you do the same. According to Justin's Linkedin his only past experience has been in the restaurant industry working as a server. From my few interactions with him he seems very unprofessional and I would recommend that Tribe takes a look at their recruiting and hiring process cause if Justin is someone that makes it through, I am very concerned about the rest of your organizations structure.

I am living in Jasper Heights since September 2020 and just love it! Very quiet. On the 5th floor high industrial ceiling. Inside Parking, building very save.And as I can have my dogs with me it is a huge bonus for me. Nice staff, nice gym and community room. Right Downtown. Plus the price is very reasonable. it is my home!

Waited to write this review. I lived here for a one year term and had several complaints: 1. Noise - you hear EVERYTHING in the hallways and even across walls. There is a large crack at the bottom of each unit’s door, which makes it easier for noise to enter. 2. Safety - given it’s downtown, and very close to the LRT station it’s not terrible. However the garbage bins are in the back alley which doesn’t feel safe unless it’s broad daylight. 3. Management - as many other reviews point out, management is poor and complaints do not get dealt with properly. 4. Slanted building - there is something wrong with the building because it’s noticeably at a slope. If you put oil in your frying pan it literally collects to one side. All of this combined you are much much better off living elsewhere. Save yourself the stress.

My review is regarding my correspondence with the resident manager/leasing office, not the building itself. I was very interested in renting in this building due to the location. After nearly 3 weeks of waiting, the resident manager, Justin, blew off two virtual viewings (Jan 7 and Jan 12, 2022) without explanation/notification. During the initial correspondence beginning on Dec 28, 2021, the resident manager mentioned that if I were to sign a lease before Dec 31, 2021, I would be offered an additional incentive. Interested, I immediately followed up to schedule a viewing. Unfortunately, the resident manager failed to mention that their leasing office would be closed for the holidays - which he told me 9 days later on Jan 6, 2022 after finally responding to me. Of course this holiday break is expected, but the closure dates were not provided - were you closed for two whole weeks? I am quite a patient person, but getting in contact with this building seems to be impossible as no one answers the phone and email responses are delayed by a few days to a week. I am quite disappointed with my experience over the last 3 weeks. I made an inquiry to rent at this building a year previously. Their friendly and prompt responses back then left a positive impression on me which is why I was determined to secure a unit here this year. But for now, it appears I have been ghosted.
