Came here with a friend that didn’t know how to get in the front door security system. I was asked to show I.d. I was not trying to get in to buy weed I was showing my friend how to use the intercom. There was a line of 3 people. I pressed the intercom cuz the first guy didn’t know how to get in. The person inside was rude when she asked to see I.d. I didn’t have mine cuz I left it in my car that’s parked in a loading zone. The woman immediately starts giving me a lecture about she won’t serve me and my friend cuz she might be buying weed for me. Wouldn’t let me explain just kept ranting about the law. Ok. But all I was trying to do was show my friended how to use the intercom so she can buy her stuff! Discrimination was mentioned in one of the past reviews about this location. This person thought I was up to no good just because I didn’t bring my I.d. I get it it’s downtown. My friend insisted to go to her usual location (west side) Instead we went to Jasper my location so I can show her how to get in the store. It’s really tough to describe the service I got tonight. The staff was vindictive and wouldn’t hear me out. if you want to support copa go to another location. Try the one in the west end. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. I WAS SHOWING MY FRIENDHOW TO USE THE INTERCOM! That means more business for you! Upper management needs to invest in training their staff or bring in a bouncer during peak hours.

Usually no problems and everything there is a good price. Today however I was not ok with how I was treated today in store by Kellsey. Very short with me for no reason. Good customer service is not being moody with customers. She appeared to be alone with a line up but still not an excuse.

I am just stunned and the lack of competence and customer service at this store. It's all good when you want to buy something, but the moment something goes wrong- you're out of luck at this store. Bought a Linx Gaia vaporizer here in late December 2021 which is over $100. 17 days later, it completely stops charging or responding. We go back to the store with our purchase details and story and they respond saying there is a 14 day return policy and that they can't help us and that we should contact the manufacturer. We go online and research the manufacturer warranty which is one year and contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer states that we must have our warranty issued by the dispensary and that they cannot do anything either. Great. We go back to the store and show them the email of the manufacturer. I get the phone number of the manager Mackoweki and send her a detailed email and all replies from the manufacturer. I call her again and email her again 2 weeks after there is no response since the first email. There is still no response. The vaporizer still doesn't work. We are still out of a working product even though we are covered by "warranty". At least ValueBuds has a 30 day return policy.

My first time coming here, and usually at other cannabis stores they’re really nice, patient, and knowledgeable about things. I was the only customer in there and Kellsey made me feel stupid! I was trying to ask questions about products but she was no help. She was really moody. I will be calling in to speak with the owner/manager. If you come here please avoid her and ask someone else for help.

I had done an order online for delivery and from the start it was a nightmare. Part was the delivery services fault but there were definitely some issues with my order. However, the person I dealt with over the phone (Dakota) was excellent and he is the only reason I'm willing to give the place another another chance. I'm giving four stars based on the fact that Dakota gave great customer service considering the amount of items missing in my prepaid order, and the fact that prices are so, so good here. I've never been into this particular locations so I can't comment on the store itself. Being in retail myself, mistakes happen, and I got my refund so it is what it is and life goes on! :)

Love coming to this location, they products are always changing and I'm able to always find just the right strain. Always have the right accessories for the right price, I enjoy looking at what they bring in. The staff are welcoming and have a good idea of what the products are like. I would 10/10 recommend this as your stop if ever on jasper Ave.
