★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this insight many times but today had to share my wonderful experience. Unfortunately my midwife could not find my baby's heart beat. She gave me an ultrasound requisition and I went to insight right away in the hopes of getting an apt asap, but fully expecting it to take some time. The lady behind the counter was very nice and looked at what she could do for me, offered to call clinics in Edmonton to see if they could get something sooner as they didn't have space. Then, she called the lady in the back and asked if they could squeeze me in at 1.15, yes, great. I was so happy.
They were on time for my apt which I was so so anxious about, and when I got back there I told the tech what was going on, she started scanning me and immediately told me the heartbeat was there and the rate. They were amazing for me today and I'm really appreciative of it.

Today l had a pelvic ultrasound with Glen, he was fabulous. He moved quickly and efficiently making me feel totally comfortable, talking to me all the way. He made me feel better immediately about the whole process and when l would be hearing my results. Thanks Glen for an experience that is not pleasant but you sure were good at your job!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give this place 0 star if possible. The people here should be completely ashamed of how they made a patient feel today. As a healthcare provider, I am appalled at how a situation was handled regarding a young patient in need of a mammogram. Not only was she made to feel greatly embarrassed by trying to justify why her family physician had ordered this exam, she was told she should never been booked for one in the first place. She felt completely unheard and invalidated. The staff here made her feel as if she was completely unreasonable for her needing this imaging. As someone who works in radiology, specifically in cancer care, I am quite concerned they even turn this patient away! She was on hormone therapy ( increases risk for breast cancer ) one of which has been pulled from the market because it was found to cause cancer at a alarming rate. She also was symptomatic of abnormal breast changes. NOT to mention she had a positive family history for breast cancer. I will ensure this patient gets taken care of, and if a diagnosis is made that could have been found if this imaging was done today, this location will be reported to the CPSA for malpractice. The staff here need additional training.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was one of the least stressful experiences I have had going to get medical tests done. The Ultrasound tech I had was an awesome guy who was super professional, respectful, and I felt no discomfort getting my ultrasound and internal ultrasound done by him. All other staff were great too but I didn't get as much time with them.
