Wow. This place has to be the worse poke place I’ve ever had. It was so salty both my husband and I had to rinse it out before eating. His tasted like soya sauce and mine was just plain salt. I maybe had a few small pieces of tuna but we ended up throwing out both when rinsing it didn’t help.

i eat here almost every time i come to this mall. today it was just not good. coconut rice was hard like it had been sitting out for ages. they’d only been open an hour when i went. the chicken was SO SALTY and inedible. the only reason i didn’t give 1 star is because the staff was nice

First time trying and this is definitely a fail. I had the Ponzu with sweet potato and coconut rice. The sweet potato was incredibly spicy, with no warning. I am sensitive to spice and was not able to eat it. The staff member offered to put more sauce to combat the spice and nothing further. Coconut rice resembled dry basmati. Very small portion for the price and only two people working on a busy Saturday. Bad experience.

Have been having this coconut rice bowl from Hula for ages now! Had it for the second time from the outlet in Crossiron and it was disappointing second time as well. It’s always about people who are making it! Look at the big chunk of rice… GOSH… how can someone serve something like that. If it was closing time and they wanted to finish, they should have given it thought about alternatives than selling it like this. Never going to this outlet again…. Sad to see that people doesnt know how to take care of of client!

My wife and daughter are poke fans. They have tried different poke bowels on our travels and Hula Poke is somewhat disappointing. 1) PORTION SIZE IS SMALL BASED ON THE PRICE PAID COMPARED TO OTHER PLACES. 2) FLAVOUR OF SAUCE WAS OFF...IT WAS OVERLY STRONG. 3) THE TUNA TASTE WAS NOT FRESH MAYBE BECAUSE WE WHERE THE LAST ORDER OF THE DAY? In conclusion, there are better Poke place to order from than this place. Would we order again from this place? From our experience NO. We would rather spend $29 else where.

I ordered a Poke bowl with traditional sushi rice. My major concern that could be improved is the rice being too hard. The rice was cooked but probably stayed outside for way too long that it became extremely dry and probably being exposed to the air like AC. Everything else in the bowl was good but the hard rice turned down the quality of the whole bowl. Also that traditional sushi rice tastes just like a regular rice that hasn't been seasoned. I suggest controlling the quality of rice and how to store them properly to keep them fresh would be appreciated. Hula Poke tastes way better at the other location, so it must've been the inconsistence of food prepping at this location.

Had the salmon poke bowl with kelp noodles. Absolutely delicious. Saw some other reviewers complaining about serving size. I couldn't finish mine and I can eat. Maybe they fixed it. Enjoyed my meal very much.

I’ve been to many poke places in Canada and this one has been the worst by far from all my experiences. Granted I’ve never tried actual poke from Hawaii, so if this is how it is there, then I’ll understand. But if not, this place has about 4-5 different items in the poke versus the 13-15 different things that you can add in at other places that has much larger portions as well. The only positive with this place is that hey have kelp noodles, that was very unique. But not enough for me to come back here.
