There is a huge bed bug outbrake and a lot of old infrastructure in this building that all needs to be desperately fixed. They've prolonged it for so long and had to switch management companies cuz of their cheapness and now the issues have ballooned into major problems and they aren't going away.

B	Brian Richardson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not rent here! This building is OVERFLOWING with BED BUGS! I had to exhume my unit multiple times, but the bedbugs kept coming back. I ended up complaining to the Tenant Board and was able to cut my lease early. This building has huge problems with bed bug infestations. Would not recommend living here unless you enjoy being woken up with bed bug bites.

The roof of my unit has been leaking water for the past 2 months, and the problem has still not been fixed. Also over the past 2 years there have been a safe injection site planted in the neighbourhood and lot of bikers now living in this building and it has turned into a slum. There are rodents and pests that run around in between units, and it is just dirty and old. The HVAC system in this building pushes stale air. There are no balconies and if your neighbour smokes or cooks in their unit, the smoke will get into your unit. I don't think this is healthy and the pipes and HVAC in this building are super ancient and outdated. I think it is time for all the pipes to be fixed and replaced.

The building is largely occupied by downtown professionals and the staff have always been extremely attentive. Over the years the building has also done an excellent job of maintaining fees reasonable given the extent of the facilities. It is a somewhat older building, which will need some repairs as all older buildings do, but it also has solid construction and larger units, many of which have been newly renovated by owners. Common areas are always well-maintained and updates are ongoing. Some of the 1-star reviews on here contain outright exaggerations, likely from people who want to discredit the building due to some other annoyance that they had.

Old management was fine but new management over the last year has been particularly responsive to concerns. Would absolutely recommend this building.
