Do not rent from the condo. They management and security are terrible. They didn't let me move in. I had to move my stuff to a storage unit and then come back three days later to move in. That cost me a lot of money. It was the management's office's fault. They told me that I could fill in a form the day I moved in and then the office was closed. Terrible. The security thinks this condo is still state of the art, when really it's 20 years old. They are way to strict. They also stole a package that was delivered after I had moved out. Do not move in here. There are way better condos in Toronto.

Very nice condo in downtown Toronto. In a great location with everything you could need in walking distance. Convenience store and pizza located underneath the building. Not much visitor parking available. Has a good little workout room, pool, and sauna. Security is easy to deal with when visiting.

While the condo and facilities are nice, the office/management staff are so-so, BEWARE! For instance, Grace Chung (one of the office staff) was incredibly unprofessional and rude when one of the tenants inquired about the buzzer system, she basically would not let them voice their concerns. Another time, the management was incredibly rude when a sublettee moved into the condo - so embarrassing for the tenants to explain. Some of the security staff are nice, most of the other management staff unpredictable. The condo needs to consider the staff who represent them!

Property management is incompetent. During quarantine when everyone is working from home, 8 hour of nonstop power drilling home renovation is invasive and dries people insane. I can’t have work meetings due to this but I also have nowhere to go. It’s nonstop. During the whole quarantine. The project has been going on for literally a year now. Property management is useless and doesn’t pick up the phone or reply to emails. Security doesn’t do anything. There isn’t even noise notice so you just wake up to power drilling with no mental preparation. Not even $300 noise cancelling headphones help.

I've lived here for 7 years. The building is old and outdated and hasn't gone under enough updates. There is always shutdowns and repairs happening but no real prevention. The wifi connection is average to slow at best. This past week the AC in two of the towers completely stopped working and the ventilation within units is bad so it's caused a lot of humidity and "stickiness" within the condos themselves. This has still yet to be repaired. Everyone who's moved out of this building as told me that the grass is greener on the other side. The area itself *used* to be decent and safe... now with the park behind it and a safe injection site nearby there are a lot of sketchy figures lurking around. I've been harrassed multiple times just steps outside of the building. At times I've wondered if I've been followed. The gym is outdated. Some of the equipment is broken and hasn't been repaired in months. Parking is limited (but that's Toronto for you). I only recommend this building if you are a student looking for housing that may be slightly cheaper than the average condo in this location. Otherwise it's not worth the money you'll spend.

I have lived at 717 bay street for over a year. This place is old and so the facilities have started to fall apart. Elevators are frequently out of order. Leakage can happen from the roof. There have been multiple plumbing related issues. And the AC stopped working for the entire building in the middle of a heatwave. As I write this review, the AC still has not been fixed. If you move here, be prepared to deal with a variety of frequent maintenance related issues. Edit: they did eventually fix the AC

Building AC broke down multiple times during summer. Sometime it last for a day, but this time for almost a week during the heat wave. Also we lost heating from December to March with many days and weeks with extremely high noise, disruption and work done for this The unit itself is great... the building has so many issues
