★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: After visiting South Commons H&M location, I do have to say West Edmonton's ambiance is far more enjoyable, with greater selections, and a much neater layout. After that experience, I am giving West Ed an extra star.
I am a little ambivalent when it comes to this place. It is either I love it or I hate it. The reasons why I love it is because the clothes are great, they 99% of the time have my size, and I love the selection. Now, why do I hate it? Their customer service is a hit or miss. There was a particular item I was looking for, so I asked an employee, "Hi, you guys had a bunch of these somewhere, did you guys move them?" and with quite an indignant tone, he responds with, "We sold out of those! That's why you can't find anymore!" and he storms off. Now, not all of them respond like this, but most of the time it feels like they are not even trying. That is not the only reason, but the cash desk can be quite slow. I noticed none of them, as far as my experience goes, properly puts away your items by gently and neatly folding them - they sorta roll your items and shove them in the bag. If the lines are slow, yet this time saving strategy is implemented, I am not sure what needs to give.
3 stars from me as a regular customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly the worst retail management team and store experience I have ever come across. To the DM in charge, I would look at making some changes to the staff asap. In a destination mall especially, these employees are severely damaging the brand as a whole.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst experience I've ever had in a clothing store by far. The staff were rude, unwilling to help me find specific clothing, when I wanted to try clothes on there were two girls talking to each other (not working, casual talk), they even looked at me multiple times while having me wait 2-3 minutes before one girl led me to a room, as if they were waiting for me to lead myself into a room? Which I have never done at any store before. When she did talk to me she was very snappy and had a very rude tone, body language and facial expression. My mother was shopping seperate from me and said she had the same rude experience with those two girls. This was my first and last time shopping at H&M.
