Was looking for a Canadian company with real people to respond to questions and they are great. I have been burned in the past with large companies that are not in reach. Would order from them again with confidence.

Everything seemed fine but then when it arrived, I couldn't find a comfortable position no matter what I adjusted. I turn to their customer service team and representative Dan seemed helpful at first but really offered no good help in the return process. Since I was missing a part of the original packaging, they basically told me to pound sand. I offered I could pay a restocking fee or something to reprimand the cost of the original packaging but they refused and refused. They said I had to pay out of pocket for the return shipping which for a huge box that weights 70+ pounds would be very expensive. "We want you to love the product you've ordered." Yeah right. Now I am stuck with an expensive chair that doesn't fit me because GR doesn't have customer satisfaction in mind. With online furniture shopping, a good return policy should be standard as it's not something I could look at in person before making the investment. Seems to me like a store that just wants to make a quick buck and has no customer service in mind post-sale.

I purchased a Herman Miller light recently from GR and my order was shipped promptly, arrived in perfect condition and customer service was great. My only caution is if you are not 100% certain how something will work with your space, GR has a 20% restocking fee and you will need to ship the order back to them at your expense. I live in Vancouver so it was a tad costly for me to send my light back for an exchange. Otherwise, Gabriel Ross is a beautiful store with an excellent selection of iconic mid century modern furniture.

I can contact them anytime and their reps are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They focus on resolving the issue and they are empowered by management to do so. Others should aspire to the BR service...but, it's not easy to pull this off.
