β β β β β My wife loves eclectic furniture. This is one of her favourite stores in the area. While furnishing our new place we bought several interesting pieces. New furniture is sourced periodically so it pays to stop by once in a while. Delivery was prompt, convieient, and careful. If your looking for furniture that is a off the beaten track compared to the major chain stores I suggest stopping in for a look.

β β β β β The customer service at Monarch is top-notch and the furniture is great quality.
My husband and I purchased a beautiful sideboard from Tony and love, love, love it! We get compliments from guests all the time and many of them recognize the piece from Monarch and tell me how much they coveted it themselves lol. We could not be happier with it.
Tony has also been so kind as to price out a custom piece for us as we try to figure out another space in our home. The team there is not at all pushy and super patient with us as we try to decide what we want. Thanks again!

β β β β β This shop makes use of recycled wood in their furniture. You can find some unusual and contemporary designs and staff are very helpful. The new shop is spacious and parking is easy. Check out their website.

β β β β β Very kind staff. Don't follow you around like hawks. Place has a wonderful energy (nice landscaping, strategic use of indoor plants). Worth a visit, even for vision boarding. Mostly mid-century and modern looking furnishing.

β β β β β Nothing there that I DIDNT want to take home! Lots of pricey items but lots of things that were reasonable, and very cute economical planters, so I doubt I'd ever walk out empty handed. The pink and yellow planters in the picture were purchased here

β β β β β We purchased both a dresser and AV stand in the Maison style from Monarch back in 2019 while living in Victoria. The furniture is beautiful and very solid, stuff we can keep for years. However, this review is mostly about a recent customer service win. We just moved and painters accidentally damaged the slider hardware on two of the dresser drawers. I bought some OEM hardware and the fit is just a little too tight, while searching high and low has found nothing that would likely fit better. On the off-chance they'd have some we contacted Monarch about replacement hardware. After a phone chat and short email exchange with Miranda (and learning these are built in Indonesia), they indicated they have replacement pieces and are sending them to us now, at no charge. When we hopefully return to Victoria permanently, we'll be very happy to shop at Monarch again.

β β β β β Very pleased with the eclectic selection of items at Monarch. Purchased a gorgeous leather sofa that Iβm absolutely in love with. The service from Tony & Miranda has been excellent. The space is well curated with well made pieces. Definitely worth a look around, lots of treasures to be had.

β β β β β We just received our new bed frame this week and canβt thank Monarch Furnishings enough for their excellent service. Even with the slight delay Tony kept us updated as to when we could expect to receive our order, and the purchase itself is beautiful. I looked at many furniture stores for a bed frame and the quality of construction and material of our purchase, as well as price point at Monarch, made this a very easy decision. We also canβt say enough about their delivery service. They were very professional and the process of delivery and set up was done with ease. I am glad we decided to go with that option! I would have no hesitation recommending Monarch Furnishings. Thanks again!
