An excellent choice of fabrics, and home decorations. The staff is very helpful without coming across as just trying to sell you stuff. There is adequate customer parking available.

I have shopped there more than a few times and always had a good experience except for this time. Staff were cold and not interested in helping out to find what I was interested in. They told me just to walk around. I felt like I was not appreciated. Got the impression I wasn’t posh in their eyes. Love the store and items. Disappointed in the staff.

A stunningly beautiful store full of of intriguing, lovely object d’or. One of my favourite places to visit when I’m in Victoria. I highly recommend checking it out!!

Beautiful place, but they have no concern or interest in helping their patrons. We spent forty-five minutes in the store and couldn't find any of the employees willing to assist us. The arrogance and disinterest was laughable.

I had my first visit to Chintz and Co. a week ago and really loved the store. Unlike many others who have recently posted, I was comforted by the request to show my vaccination proof. Knowing that all the others in the store (shoppers and staff) were also vaccinated made for a more relaxing experience for me. I have avoided large stores for the most part since the pandemic began. The store has so many interesting items to look at and I found the staff pleasant to deal with and not pushy. Yes, prices are high but there are many items in this store that I've never seen anywhere.

I don't know why or how this store is even still in business. I was with some visitors from out of town having lunch in Chinatown and we decided to go to Chintz. There's a sign on the door saying you have to have an appointment due to staff shortages. This is ridiculous. Pay better wages and treat your staff better might help you to get and keep staff if that's the problem. In any event, this store has so much dated garish decor among some very nice things as well. Someone noted a few years back that it looked like the furnishings were done by Liberace. That at least isn't as bad as it used to be. For the most part the merchandise is way over priced. You can get solid wood furniture that's painted and distressed many other places in town for a fraction of the price. They have hand made quilts from India for twice the price they're being sold for on Etsy. The upstairs fabric staff has always been unfriendly, unwelcoming. Get a grip people, it's just a store and you're not the Queen of Sheeba working there.

I was having a hard time finding large tassels in Vancouver and was given a tip to look at chintz and co. I sent an email before they opened, and at 10:04 (4 minutes after they opened) I had been sent photos and quantities of what they had. Susan went above and beyond to get me photos and measurements of everything they had in stock, and also gave me the option to order from Calgary. I am taken back by all the steps Susan took out of her busy day to help me, and get me the product as fast as possible here in Vancouver. I wish everybody I crossed throughout my day was as helpful as Susan!! Five stars!!!
