Foot And Ankle Wellness Centre

For three years, I had issues with my right foot and all other doctors prescribed orthotics that never worked. Dr. Chaudhry suggested surgery to create a permanent fix. The procedure went smoothly, although I wish the after care communicated to me would have reflected what I actually needed. I was told I would be able to wear my regular shoes out of the clinic, but my foot was way too swollen to fit them. Thankfully, I had an air cast to wear. It took a couple of weeks to be able to wear shoes regularly again. I do also wish they advised me to get crutches because walking was very difficult for a couple of weeks. Also, one side effect of my surgery was not disclosed to me. One of the muscles in my foot/toe was weakened where the surgery occurred, so my big toe now turns slightly inwards. There is much less pain than before my surgery, but my mobility in the toe is limited, which I believe is due to the weakened muscle. I see many comments about the receptionists. They do have a very casual attitude, but they are so much fun to talk with! Very funny ladies to joke around with for sure! It made me feel so much more comfortable with everything. Edit (my response to owner): My legal last name has changed since the surgery in 2015, so it is likely not in your system. In my case, I was told I could wear a street shoe. After my surgery, my foot wouldn't fit in a shoe due to swelling, so the air cast was the only thing I could put on.

What a pleasant place. My feet feel better already. Thanks guys. I recently went to see Dr Chaudhry. It turns out I have a bone spur on my heel which is not great. I am also training for a marathon so you can understand my concern. Dr C, and his staff were excellent at understanding my concern and gave me many options to work with, so as not to impede my training progress. I really appreciate this approach. He knew the race is important to me and is willing to address that while treating me the best he can. Great job Doc!! And great job to your team!!

The staff here are super friendly and very knowledgeable! I will definitely be recommending this establishment to any friends, family members, or clients (I'm a personal trainer) who need a podiatrist.

Dr.Chaudre has been incredible to work with. After being told by the public system that they would not help repair damage to ligaments and a bone spur we got into contact with him. Very professional atmosphere, patient care is provided well and all information is relayed to you in simple understandable terms. It's very clean and well ventilated inside, they clearly take cleanliness and patient/staff seriously. After identifying the issue at hand next step was surgery. Surgery went great, no infection or complications. When it was all said and done they provided all the necessary information I needed to care for myself at home between check up appointments. So far it's been about 7 months since the operation on my ankle. Healing went well, and so far I have been able to return to all my normal activities and working back into sports. Return to work went well (I have to stand and lift stuff at my job all day, no problems now). Without the treatment and diagnosis provided by Dr.Chaudry and his team at the wellness center I would not be able to experience the sports I love and live how I do today. Forever grateful to these wonderful people. I would strongly recommend visiting Dr.Chaudry's clinic to my family and friends if they have issues with their feet and ankles. These people care about you and know what they doing. I should mention that we had to drive out of town a considerable distance to have all this done and for check ups. Well worth it. Thank you to the whole team!

So encouraged by the professionalism, knowledge and efficiency of the entire staff. As I face foot surgery I’m worried but feel reassured by my experience at my pre-op meeting. This is clearly a well-oiled machine. I feel like I’m in good hands and everything is going to be okay.

Had an appointment with Dr. Chaudhry less than a year ago for foot pain I had been dealing with for a year. I am an active healthy person who’s on my feet a lot for work. He recommended 2 surgeries to me that I needed for my feet and also a pair of orthotics. I agreed to orthotics even though I asked what else I could to fix it and that I would put in the work that was needed such as Physio. He bluntly told me that Physio would never fix it and that orthotics were not “crutches” as I had suggested and that I would require surgery.. I ignored this advice and went to Physio and have put in a ton of work for strengthening my feet and switched to barefoot shoes and have healed my feet/ foot pain after 9 months of working on it consistently. I have seen chiro as well to help with it. Please be your own advocate and get a second opinion. Also, I never need to wear my orthotics as I have gained strength back in my arches/ feet.

My family member was seen by Dr. Patel today and had a terrible experience. Dr. Patel barely said anything to my family member, had poor bedside manner, and did not take the time to explain the diagnosis or counsel about management. Only when asked did he tell my family member that further treatment for the foot issue would cost close to a thousand dollars, and then finished the appointment with no further advice. The visit was extremely short and the issue and management plan was not explained or communicated. I would not recommend this clinic to anybody and we will not be returning.

I am not one to normally provide bad reviews but I feel everyone should know about the fees this doctor charges. I am sure he is a wonderful doctor, I am not disputing that but my experience regarding the fees I am not happy with. I had inquired over the phone before my appointment how much the visit was so I went in understanding the cost of the visit. When the doctor first saw me he said he wanted to do x-rays and then left the room. His nurse/assistant came in and she is the one who told me they would be $100. I wasn't happy with it but okay I get it, x-rays are not cheap. So I agreed to have them done. The doctor came back in after my x-rays and indicated I had heel spurs and confirmed my plantar fasciitis. He recommended orthotics (I had to ask how much these were, he did not tell me outright. They were $595 which is pretty standard as I have had them before). Then he recommended that they tape my feet weekly in the meantime to give me some relief. I said okay and he left the room. When the nurse/assistant came in I had to purposefully ask how much the taping was. She said it would be $70 per foot!!!!! $70 for a piece of tape???!!!!! Also on future visits to get the tape redone it would be $40 for the visit. $180 to tape my feet for 1 week!!! I expected there to be a charge but this is insane. I have had my feet tape over the years by various professions (physio, acupuncture, chiropractor) and have NEVER been charged anything (normally included in the visit fee). Also it really rubbed me the wrong way that the doctor did not discuss the fees with me while we were having the conversation. He left it up to his poor nurse/assistant. I ended up walking out because I just do not agree with how much he charges for this service (I paid for my visit which was thankfully covered under my private insurance $175 but I only have $300 insurance a year so I am almost out now). I think it is the principle of it. How can you think that $180 to tape 2 feet is okay in any setting?
