I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sylvia Kovarihers since she opened at Leslie and Sheppherd office. Since her transition to Ajax she is worse the drive :) Very knowledgable/ friendly practitioner! No matter what doctor I go to I’m always nervous ( big baby ) if you have any worries this is the Dr. For you !!!

Had a bad ingrown and called looking for a quick fix as my regular office had no openings for 3 days. I am so glad I found this place. Amazing atmosphere, clean office and just a nice smart dr with a great sense of humour. In and out within 15 minutes, I even got the freezing spray ( never had before) Nails gone, no pain. My new regular chiropodist. See you in a few months!

Charged me $120 to tell me "put your foot in salt water". That's it, nothing else was done. Oh they also tried pitching their $700 "permanent treatment". Even my insurance company said their fee was more than normal. (I have not left a review for the wrong place, I assure you).

I want to leave a review to comment on the outstanding service I received at this clinic. I was at my wits end with heal pain. I could hardly stand long without being in pain, and I couldn’t fall asleep or stay at sleep at night! The doctor was really patient and listened to my concerns, clearly explained treatment options, and allowed me to decide what I felt comfortable with. In the end I took her advice on treatments which was shockwave therapy, and new orthotics with a met pad. Just after one shockwave treatment I already noticed a huge difference. After 3 treatments my heal pain was gone. Now because of my really comfortable orthotics my feet have never felt healthier and better, and I am heal pain free. I’m really grateful for my experience at this clinic. I have my life back.

Absolutely amazing experience with Dr. Kovari. Dr. Kovari is super knowledgeable, professional, skilled and patient. I suffered from terrible ingrown toe nails for many years with extreme pain. Within 1 week, Dr. kovari was able to book me in for a consult and surgery to permanently repair my ingrowns with no scarring. I 100% recommend the Harwood Foot Clinic for the best chiropodist in the GTA.

A review from my heart A few years ago I was in a lot of pain from a corn and some bad calluses. I looked up foot doctors and came across Harwood Foot Clinic. I was given an appointment quickly. Dr Sylvia was wonderful, gentle and cleared up my problem quickly. When she was finished she sat back and with compassion, and empathy asked me how I managed to walk with my foot in the state it was in. We had a "very emotional conversation" You see the corn and calluses were the least of my problems. I'd had a bunion surgery a number of years before, that left my foot very badly damaged. I 'd been back to the surgeon who did it and he advised me to learn to live with it because anything he could do would be more uncomfortable. I went on to find a surgeon who specializes in reconstructive surgery, he was shocked at the state of my foot. That appointment took 2years to get and since then 2016 I have been on a waiting list with him for surgery. He since retired !! I never heard from him again. He told me the surgery would be rebuilding my foot from the middle forward, that I would be in max pain and it would take a minimum of 6months to heal and have to be on crutches. Hopefully it would give me less pain and a functioning foot. After Sylvia and I spoke and I dried my tears, she asked me if she could contact a colleague of hers she was sure could help. Of course !! Right then she called him (even though he was on holidays) she asked me if she could take pictures and send them to him. They chatted for a few minutes he looked at the photos and he said he'd see me as soon as he got back from holidays. You see Sylvia could have let me leave her office, not had the difficult conversation, not seen my tears ..but that's not who she is. She is one of the most caring people I know. Because of her caring ways I had surgery about 3yrs ago that completely changed my foot, relieved the pain I'd been suffering and allowed me to wear something other than crocks, roomy runners etc. This was done in his office, barely any discomfort afterwards, and walked out no crutches just a protective shoe. Healing took a couple of weeks. Sylvia has been taking care of my feet for some time now. Recently she suggested I have some issues dealt with surgically that I had mentioned to her. I went back and I did have the work done. Actually the bandage came off yesterday and next week the stitches will come out. My foot is beautiful !! All work is complete !! Because of Sylvia I now have a lovely normal functioning foot. I don't live in pain and I can wear shoes comfortably. As you can see this isn't a typical review but then again my experiences with Sylvia have been anything but typical. Dr Sylvia Kovari changed my life that day. I will be eternally grateful to her. Dr. Kovari is very professional. She takes the time to hear your concerns and is forthright in what she can or cannot do. Always had problems with ingrown nails, she recommended treatment and after accepting the treatment have not had a problem since. Pleasant demeanor, puts you at ease always a smile

This place is amazing! Very accommodating, welcoming and efficient! I felt at ease as soon as I entered the facility. Dr. Sylvia was understanding of my urgency and was able to accommodate me on short notice. Her surgery was painless and fast! Regrowth of the nail came in perfect. I HIGHLY recommend coming here!
