I'm not leaving a review only a response. All these comments and complaints and not one attempt by this organization to CONTACT the individuals and MAKE THINGS RIGHT!? That's why this world is going down the toilet. No more care, no responsibility, and if you happen to complain (which is the only thing that should change things) you must be wrong. Shame on ADA

They are the indirect spokespersons for dentists. They do not act as a governing body. I provided them all the proofs of undue charges by Go Dental in Calgary. The Dentists refused to provide a copy of the invoice. Dentists charged my credit card without authorisation. I sent written complaints.ADA responds by a registered letter paid for by tax payers and fail to address a single issue that was brought forward. They said basically it's between you and dentists. So dentists in Alberta as well as ADA treat public as ATM with no accountability to anyone.

Ongoing "case" but let's just say they have not REPORTED HARM, NOR FRAUD of my complaint to the RCMP AS MANDATED!. There are NO SUPPORTS OR ASSISTANCE for VICTIMS Dental crimes...this is a LEGALIZED MAFIA. NO accountability, yet CLAIM to PROTECT ALL ALBERTNS! Why am I not protected?

I called them in regards to a dentist and how to make a compliant against one. She told me to call the office to find out why they didnt pull my teeth. So I did call the dentist office only to find out that the dentist billed my insurance for removal of my teeth. which my teeth are still in my mouth. waste of time

I was looking for support and change. I thought having the Alberta Dental and CollegeΒ is a respectable entity to support and protect consumers in Alberta. I read every review posted and the Association seems to be, just, as bad as the terrible, abusive, an outrageous and out of control dental services in Alberta. I am in the Edmonton area I had to have dental services for 30 years and had never find a fair, competent, ethical, professional dentist. It is really outrageous and more people have to complaint. I just heard the news last night about the government taking the airlines to court. DENTIST have to be taking to the SUPREME COURT of CANADA it is too much, too long and too many people being ripoff and deserving from an essential health field to all Canadians. I am going to try it and write my letter of complaint to the ADA.

Incapable of actually following through with completing an investigation when a complaint is filed. The only thing that transpired was numerous letters back and forth from myself and the offending dentist saying the same things, with my letters saying things along the lines of requesting a proper investigation such as comparing imaging from this to my good dentist, and nothing ever occurred. It got to the point where I didn't even bother anymore and sent a complaint to the Canadian version of this association in regards to THIS association. I'm very likely not going to get any kind of resolution, but I'm glad that my dentist that I had been seeing regularly before the unnamed POS dentist is honest, caring, and does not put making money above the well being and health of his patients.

Southside Dental Medicine Hat - I paid the full cost for an Implant/Crown because my AB Blue Cross plan did not come through while I was at the office. It arrived about 4 days later. However, Southside Dental did not contact me to let me know that they now had payment from Blue Cross. They did not let me know that I had a refund coming to me. Instead, they decided to order a Night Guard, that I had cancelled and give me a credit. They should have contacted me about the refund and should never have ordered the Night Guard. I understand that it is difficult to contact myself by phone because of my COVID-19 work schedule, but it appears they made not effort to do so. It has taken 3 weeks but I now have my refund!

ADA&C has only provided me with best support and guidance. Katherine, Tabitha, Denise, Laura, Lynn..everyone has been nothing but professional and kind. These jobs to regulate highly sensitive profession come with extreme delicacy and these super humans are doing excellent job at its best. Respect!
