Do not trust anything the fido representative say. They do not honour their promotion promised and try as hard as possible to rip you off. Wait for 3 day to even cancel my phone plan

Never thought I'd review a phone store. Terrible customer service. Phone is never answered. Does management look at reviews? It's amazing how many negative customer service reviews there are maybe you should hire better staff or train your existing ones to not lose potential customers

I went to this store to get a new phone plan. I was already an existing customer, and the gentleman who assisted me gave me all these promotions, which was awesome and appreciated, but did not explain things thoroughly. I asked multiple times to clarify, and there are only so many times you can ask a man in the mall at a fido store to re-explain how it works. It seemed like he was just focused on giving me promotions and as I learned later when I phoned FIDO HQ customer service, this gentleman forgot to submit forms online, did not do it properly, and had I not phoned in for clarification, would have been billed more than I needed and put through much more of a hassle. To quote the FIDO HQ customer service rep who explained things to me on the phone, my account was "royally screwed up" by the man at the surrey central centre. This is a 'third party' fido branch and I doubt thorough training was complete. The man at this store was kind but did not answer questions thoroughly and as I suspected, did not do things right. Will not return to this store unfortunately.

This place gives a bad name to fido. Very dishonest people. Because of them I almost moved away from fido. A couple of weeks ago I damaged my phone and went in to get new one in a hurry. The guy give me a used phone but did not pay attention 3 days later I returned the phone but the seller refused to accepted citing the phone had skretch in the back which was a total lie. I asked for his manager number but he give me his own phone# when I dialed it the phone rung in the back. He was extremly unfriendly and dishonest I turned out he is fido dealer not fido store which puzzled me further. Do yourself a favor don't deal with this store

I’m a Fido customer from past few years and I went to this store on Boxing Day to upgrade my plan and to add one more line. I went there 25 minutes before closing time and the staff member was not happy to see me. Her facial expressions made it very clear that she doesn’t want to help me. She was very rude and didn’t even tried to help. She didn’t explain me the plans and when I asked her few questions she said it doesn’t work that way and I can call customer care and they can help me with the plans I’m looking for. She was answering personal calls and was reserving stock for her friend but didn’t help the customer who was present in the store.. amazing!!!!!!! My mood was spoiled and I don’t want to go back to that store.

I added my dad to my fido plan and he lives in a different city so when he has troubles getting his new phone going he went to fido at central city mall in Surrey,BC to get assistance and buy a new phone case. The guy working wouldn't even look at my dad's phone and told my dad to go get help from the other cell phone store across the mall. Horrible service.

Disclaimer: The review is for the store itself and less about Fido (which I know many people have more polarizing opinions about) I came two weeks ago during the promotion for customers who are with Freedom and looking to switch carriers. Got a iPhone 11 Pro with it too. Customer service was great as it should be. Scarlet, the store manager, was very helpful and was great with not only her customers but with her employees as well. I'd suggest for people who are having issues with phone companies/stores, look for fine print information on promotions. Go to their website, call the support lines and get any proof of details that you need as evidence whenever you go in store. Make sure you read the fine print yourself and be assertive when you're in the store. And just remember, the reviews here should be reflecting the store and not Fido as a company. These are authorized representatives/retailers and can only do what Fido tells them to. Otherwise, this store, their management, and people are great.
